Stay on topic.

We are in a thread devoted to explaining who you expect to underperform. You said the Magic will be better than the Thunder, which is far from a majority opinion, and people are pointing out that you have a history of overrating the Magic. It has relevance.

Saying "stay on topic" as an attempt to turn attention away from the fact that you've historically been far higher on the Magic than most seems a little red herring-ish.

But yeah, I'm with bondom, saying the Magic will be better than the Thunder this year (especially better on offense) is crazy. Vogel's going to mold the Magic into a terrific defensive team, but he's never been a good offensive coach. And if you say the Thunder have less shooters...well, I don't know what Magic team you're watching.

The Thunder in a horrifically injury-ravaged season with less depth managed to almost make the playoffs on Westbrook's back with a good offensive rating and a coach who was worse than the one we have now.

Bodom wanted to point out that 70% of Magic fans feel they would make the playoffs and I said, 100% of Thunder fans think they'll make the playoffs and in my opinion the Magic are better.

Stay on topic.

It's actually very relevant here, it points out your extreme bias in anything Magic related. My point wasn't to re-spark a Giannis-Gordon debate, but to show you how meaningless your "and it's not even close" statements are.

As it stands, it's just hilarious to me to think the Magic are substantially better than OKC. Unless you think OKC is going to suck ass, it makes no sense.

I think it's the opposite. If you look at the numbers at the same age their comparable. I had to argue with Buck fan's that Gordon was even in the same league athletically that Giannis is.

What happened to staying on topic? Bump that thread or start a new one.

OKC has arguably three guys better than anyone on the Magic next year. One of which is a bonafide top 5 player and superstar.

After Oladipo gets the max next season your backcourt payroll might be higher than Orlando's whole team.

You'll be scoring 80 a game, and yea, you will.

And the second comment is totally irrelevant to this season, and no it still won't unless of course Ibaka leaves for nothing.

My guess is Ibaka takes a cap friendly deal to stay in Orlando.

lol

Which three players?

Westbrook, Adams, Dipo.

2 for sure, maybe Dipo.

Having a superstar and a good team are two different subjects.

And oddly, having both tend to coincide.

I would take Ibaka and Fournier before Adams and Dipo.

You're free to. You can also believe the earth is flat and believe in the tooth fairy, it doesn't mean its true. That is...how can I say...a very "out there" thought.

Keep thinking the Thunder are still an elite team. Maybe a majority of fans and media might agree but I think it just isn't true.

And I missed this, nobody thinks they're elite. They're better than Orlando.

Ibaka was still top 5 in rim protection last season.

And Adams better overall defensively.

Blocked shots is not = defense. Shocking.
