41-45 wins, and surprise challenger to win the (suddenly very strong) Atlantic Division, though I think they eventually lose out to either Toronto or Boston...or maybe both (i.e., come in third).

That said, I think the East as a whole proves much stronger than the West this year. (Last year, outside of GSW, the conferences overall were pretty much equal during the regular season.) Given this, it may take 45 wins to get the 7th seed in the East. We'll see....
RIP magnumt--you're literally why I'm still here on these boards.

Brandon Jennings and Courtney Lee will be the X factors. Jennings looks healthy and motivated to play in NYC. Lee the man no one is talking about is the man no team will be guarding either. The forgotten man will get a lot of open looks

Jennings a little but not Lee because you know what to expect out of him. Rose and Noah are the x-factors and Jennings could be if Rose goes down and we need to count on him for more.

But it's pretty clear that it's going to come down to how much time Noah and Rose miss and if they're production goes up from last year.

I only said Lee because I believe he will get a lot of open looks. And Jennings will be deadly off the bench. Rose and Noah will be focal points

What? You think Dolan's gonna interrupt his recording session to fire him? Album Lucky Seven???

i don't even know who he can trade at the deadline to be honest. if noah is playing well we'll probably be good enough to make the playoffs. if not who's gonna take him ? melo has to give his ok. rose is an expiring. so who then...courtney lee ? it's as gonyk said, the pieces are pretty fixed.

Is this a request for a ridiculous trade proposal??

49 - 33

And it will have more to do with us choosing to rest guys than injuries limiting us.

This team is much more talented/deeper than the 2012-2013 Knicks team in which won 54 games.

This 2016 N.Y team is on the verge of breaking the 1992-1993 record of 60 wins.

Rose, Melo, Porzingis & Noah now creates for the strongest core group of players since dating back to the 90's with Starks, Mason, Oakley & Ewing.

We also have a boat load of role players as well (being led by Lee & Jennings). The likes of Baker, Holiday, Hernangomez, Kuzminskas, O'Quinn, Ndour & Plumlee can all become fan favorites as role players off the bench.

This team is deep and it all starts with Rose, Lee, Carmelo, Porzingis, Noah & Jennings.

We're winning at least 61-63 games here in 2016.

Our powerhouse run starts tonight @ Cleveland. We win this game & we'll have instant momentum moving forward.

We are just as good as the warriors at the moment with 1/4 of the talent.

We might have the same record, but we not as good as the Warriors are even at this moment.

31-35 games easy money right there. Going to take this team full of egos a longtime to gel not to mention we have the dumbest PG in the NBA. The team should be more cohesive by the allstar break and thats when the injuries kick in. Old injury prone divas + coach who runs a high paced offense + micromanaging outdated front office =31-35

I'm gonna say 34 wins with a standard deviation of 2.5 (so pretty much anywhere between 29-39). I think Rose is going to be really bad, but will put up a lot of empty stats.
And just like that, the lead has been cut to 8!

I voted 41-45 but I changed my mind to 31-35.

When you realize three pretty basic facts, you'll understand why the Knicks will be under .500 this year.

1. Melo isn't even close to who he was in his prime anymore
2. Rose isn't even close to who he was in his prime anymore. In fact, he's much much worse.
3. Brandon Jennings is not that much of an upgrade over any backup PG we've had in the last several years.
And just like that, the lead has been cut to 8!

45 wins is our ceiling. Rose looks quick, but he's out of control.
Wish we didn't sign all these players to 4 year deals. I like our young players and want to tank for a high draft pick.

All depends on how fast this team find its rhythm.
This thing needs time, you can´t except that a complete renewed squat will compete with the reigning champs.
If Horny can fix it in the first 10-15 games, we will be fine.

i go with 45 wins and 6th seed.

Originally wasn't going to post in here but fu*k it I need to be more active since I've been spending time away from here.

I'll go with 35-47.

A slight improvement & once again missing the playoffs.

We have the talent we just lack the health from said talent.

KP is also a huge question mark, I've been very intrigued about him because he could either be a star or a really good role player.

I pray for KP's sake he becomes the former but his lack of assertiveness & tendency to just be a regular guy seriously bothers me.
