Not sure they'd trade Crowder and Bradley for Gorgui. They need to clear space, that doesn't do much for them.

Still hoping for Miles, Afflalo for our wings.

Boston needs to add a BIG.

If not Gorgui then Drummond, Bismack or Faried...someone.

If we trade Gorgui, I think that Kelly Olynyk could be a nice piece to look at since the Celtics just let him become an unrestricted free agent.

Young seems like a ****ing moron, not the kind of character I really want on the team

I think Nick Young is a near perfect fit for where we are.

This would be the most veteran laden team he has been on in a few years and even better, there is a clear role for him. We have strong personalities, and better wings, to lead the way. But now that we don't have Zach or Shabazz we've actually lost a lot of the bench scoring. Therefore his volume shooting shouldn't be a problem. If we get him for the room exception he'd also be a great value. I'd be all for this one if we can get it done.

I'm not saying I disagree, but I wonder if he is a bad character guy, or just immature? I don't know much about him other than thinking he was a knucklehead, but other than the D'Angelo Russell scandal I cannot really think of why I've felt that way.

Well I'd definitely take him on a small deal over a sign and trade for CJ Miles where we have to give up our newly acquired 1st round pick. I hope we sign him.

That would be sweet....we'd just be thin af out side of kat for big men with talent. Taj is fine but isn't going to scare anyone.

Cole would see extensive minutes but with jae, ab and buy me a pizza there to score bench points. ..just be an enforcer.

When he was just playing a role player job in WAS and on the Clips, I don't recall him having any of these personality issues.
Could it just be that when he got to the Lakers, on a bad team with no stars or veteran leadership, he just went a little Hollywood and bought into his own hype because he was de facto elevated to a starring role? Wouldn't be the first guy that got an elevated ego because he happened to be the only serviceable player on a bad team, but checked that ego when he got into the right role on a good team.

Unless he really is a lost cause from a personality standpoint, I'd prefer him over someone slightly better but that would cost us the OKC pick.

This is my thought exactly. I know on WAS he was really young and that on the Clippers he was a chucker, but I don't remember any real conflict or problems. And he can definitely shoot. Is it also possible that Thibs is the best coach he would have ever played for? I also like the fact that he is a veteran now who just got off a young team that lost a lot. He will probably be eager to "fit in" more and hopefully is ready to win.

Or CJ Miles can come here for more money and we can lose what is likely our only 2018 FR pick. Give me swaggy p.

Nick Young to GS for 1 year 5.2 mil.

Dammit. Even if you didn't want Young, its still one less option. I think this increases the leverage of CJ Miles (not the wolves).

It increases the leverage of Indy I think as they can hold out for the pick. I think all the wolves are going to offer Miles is the 7 million per year that trading Aldrich would give plus the one or two million we have remaining in cap space. If he wants more I'm pretty certain we're not trading Dieng to accommodate him.

Supposedly Miles wants more than that in any S & T.

What people want and what they settle for are often quite different. If he needs more than we can clear by trading Aldrich into cap space there is nothing to talk about. We don't have it.

Is there any chance that undrafted players and GLeague stars will be more willing to play for us given our need of backup shooters?
P.S. I hope that we can get Miles after all.

I still hope we can get Bradley or Crowder from Boston. I don't care about Avery only having 1 year left, he would be awesome on this roster & would help this team so much. Definition of 3&D guy
