Looks like a mashup of that and our PHX bird and sunbust to me.

It also looks like is says suns in the middle. I'm cautiously optimistic because I love the old school jerseys and shorts.

I'm a little concerned. What he's holding doesn't appear to be shorts, but the actual jersey. It's the same thing he hangs in the locker. It almost looks like there's going to be a giant flaming basketball right in the middle of the jersey. It's very tough to make out because it's blurry, but it kind of looks like either Suns written in white on the sunburst, or the player's name if it's the back of the jersey, with huge purple numbers under that.



I really hope I'm mistaken. That will most likely look atrocious! That said, I do like the purple and orange around the sleeves and neck.

I hear you, I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic. I'd love to be more positive, but I was extremely hopeful for the last set. I am happy to see them embracing purple and orange and, seemingly, the team's history.

Agreed, I'm a big fan of the new designs for the Diamondbacks' unis. Honestly, I'm hoping they just make teal a primary color instead of whatever they're doing with it right now. Either it's one of the team's colors or not. Very weird having it as a part time alternate that shows up here and there.

White jerseys with Orange/Purple trim (obviously), Orange "PHOENIX" arcing across the front (like original jerseys), with the Purple and Orange "shooting Sun" logo (from the 92-00 jersey), Black name/numbers (you can see the bottom of the jersey in the few moments before ShawnBronalds second screen cap - White with something Black).

Yeah, seriously. If abbreviated, they should say SNAKES. Or just Diamondbacks, like the old jerseys.
