Re: PG Fake Win
Lowry is a warrior man hope is landed on his ass, I thought he had the bootie protection
But this game really wtf Casey, we had a 6 point lead we throw out a 3 pg lineup, we didn’t need offense putting OG at the 4 would make sense

Re: PG Fake Win
It would have been VERY demoralizing for both the team and the fanbase if they lost this game.

Didn't even get reviewed at ALL and the man couldn't stand straight. I've seen way softer sh** get reviewed for a flagrant

Motherfcker! Glad we pulled out the win but hope Lowry's okay. At least it wasn't as bad when TJ Ford got totalled by the biatch Horford. He'll be out some days but I don't think it's too serious (fingers crossed).

Geddy wrote:On the replay it looked like Lowry landed on his hip more than his back. Could just be a bruised hip and the pain was preventing him from walking.
If it was his hip, we're golden. Lowry's hip is the most indestructible part of his body.

Like the way his legs buckled.
I'm legit holding my breath because if he hit his lower spine, and can't walk after, we're FOOOKED.
Do you really think they would have even moved him if he couldn't?
If they had any inkling of a spinal injury, he'd have left on a stretcher. Most likely just a bruise. But again, if he doesn't improve over night, they'll send him for an MRI. If there's any nerve impingement (which an MRI would show), it'd be lower back, and will keep Lowry out for a couple weeks.
Hard to say though, without knowing the result of his physical exam - straight leg test, obturator sign, psoas sign, etc.

Jokes aside I really hope the cushion on his back helped and he just landed on the soft part of his behind.
This was so damn unnecessary that its pissing me off... ** the nets man, we should blown that team out.

Marcus Smart blatantly shoves him and refs swallow their whistle.. Siakam with a clean swipe? must be a foul

Re: PG Fake Win
Any unbiased person will tell you the officiating in tonight's game was awful beyond belief. Watch the play where Crabbe got injured. Watch the play where Dinwiddie tried to dunk, Ibaka got all arm, no ball, and still no call. Watch the last possession where there's plenty of contact and no call. There were many more instances. I know I'm going to get flamed on this Raps board who for some reason always think that they're the victims of the NBA conspiracy theory. But there's clear evidence of this all over tonight's game.vaff87 wrote:DarkXaero wrote:Yall can thank Quincy Acy and the refs for that win. Congrats on a hard fought win tho. Hope Lowry is alright.
We can thank the refs for that win? What game were you watching?

Yeah, if the spine was involved he would have needed a stretcher. Thinking it's the tailbone, or at least I'm hoping so.
He showed that he had some strength which leads me to believe that it was his tailbone and not his spine. You're absolutely right, if he needed a stretcher, more likely it would've been a spinal injury and his season would probably be over. Hopefully the team will give Kyle some time so that he can come back 100%.

Re: PG Fake Win
Man that was an awkward fall by Kyle. Not only was hit hit up in the air, Acy undercut him so he had no chance to have feet land on the court.
He had another one right on his back from mid air earlier, and also the play when he ran into the camera man.
I'm a guy who had had a back back for decades, and Lowry had had back problems frequently too, so I dont expect to see him back for a while.

Oh man if Kyle is out, this is going to be the worst personal season for DeMar with his divorce, father being unwell, and now his best bud going down. We might get Mamba junior unleashed though.

Re: PG Fake Win
I'm no medical expert but if you watch the replay of him get up the first time, he's able take a right step then almost falls after his second step.
To me that's a bad sign pointing to an actual injury.

We were fine at the end of last year. Delon will step in and we will be more of a grind it out defensive team, and norm will have plenty of opportunity to get his head on right.
Norm has fallen victim to the Badrick Badderson syndrome. Too focused on messing with dirty thots in Toronto now that he's paid.
