Interviewer: Championship #2?
Ujiri: Hey...We're gonna get it. I don't know when it'll be, but we're gonna get it. Just like I said we'll get the first one and I said I didn't know when we'd get it...But we will. Guarantee you we will.

Masai will have an ultimatum for Casey stating if he says 'process' one more time he is fired, 10 seconds in Casey is fired.

At least we didn’t get swept 4 years in a row so that’s not bad

I've never known a end of season presser to be stressful to fans.

Casey agrees to step down and become g league coach
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

I'd just like to see Casey make the decision himself to leave. He has been here a while, had another chance last year still couldn't do it. Would look a lot better for him to resign than fire.

Players are definitely to blame but the coaches are as well.... especially when you have been outcoached in every series for 5 straight playoffs

It's Casey and DeRozan to blame, plain and simple.

Casey is our HC, and DeRozan is our #1 scoring option. Year after year our offense regresses hard in the playoffs because these clowns can't adapt or make adjustments

Except that didn’t happen. Our defense foundered not our offense

I would love derozan to ask for a trade. Would look alot better to casual fans and no outrage

Best of both worlds

Our offense did regress though. We averaged less PPG, less assists, more turnovers. "New and improved 3pt shooting and passing DeRozan" averaged 2.8 assists per game and made zero 3s in the Cavs series

I would ask Masai why in 5 years he still hasnt got the Raptors one high quality starter or 2nd/3rd option type??? Top heavy rosters win titles in the NBA not bottom heavy ones. Carroll and Ibaka were epic failures and likely net negatives that you have to pay to get rid of. 5 years....... Patty, Ross, Scola, Ibaka, OG, Norm and the list goes on and on of guys that shouldnt be starting for a team with real plans of contending.

Masai failed on the biggest front.

In general though, the culture change worked. Offense is not the reason why we lost this series. Advanced stats over the months show our offense slipped a bit but always top 5. Our defense slipped to middle of the pack by MArch

And all this against what was ranked as the worst Defensive team in the league lol.

You couldn’t write a better horror story even if you tried.

They're both resigning. They're giving up on this team.

If Casey was staying on, why would they have a shared press conference? Is that a common thing? If not, I'm guessing they're mutually parting ways?
