Because plays lazier than me in a hammock on a beach holiday... No space for that on this team.

Well he's an expiring and he's bettwe than any big we have at rebounding

Whiteside is great in contract years. I would have liked to have him for this season and just not sign him again.

Look what Drummond is doing in his contract year too.

Pels regain momentum. Luka careless, passive. Then shows up when it matters.

Like i said, he honestly looked like he was a bit tired, he could have attacked the rim anytime he wanted even though they were double teaming him on the top. He just looked a bit off in the 2nd half. But luckily he loves clutch moments and he delivered.

All in all, the resilience that the team showed was huge for their confidence, specially because it was an away game. They really fought their way back.

He´s 20 years old, had the longest summer of his life probably since he was like 13 to recover from last year, was playing the second game of an 82-game season and he´s tired? I don´t think so, I think he´s just that passive sometimes.

If Rick wouldn't be so damn stubborn about midget ball I think we'd be one hell of a strong team if we had a guy like Drummond.
I'd love to have that ox manning our paint for most of KP and Luka's careers.

Unfortunately he isn't a Rick type of a guy.

Playing real games is tougher than "being ready" in training.

Manning the paint?

You mean clogging up the paint for Luka and KP whilst being a negative defender and leave us with two starting bigs incapable of defending 4s, switches or the pick n roll?

KP is the 5 for all actual intents and purposes. Playing him with an immobile big negates every single one of his strong points.

To get the most out of both guys offensively, this makes sense. But Wright is solid defensively and you need that in the starting lineup

Not at the expense of playing 4 on 5. What is the point of defense if you can't score? Dallas has been playing 4 on 5 (3 on 5 actually) and the spacing is messing everything up. Playing Wright at SG is like playing DSJ at SG last year.

Except DSJ wanted to be a star and have offense for himself. Wright is a perfect teamplayer that you want around Luka and KP and also an incredible defender when he is locked in. So it doesn't matter what position Delon plays, when he is on the court, he takes pressure off of other guys.
DFS has been a bit underwhelming on defense so far and offense as well, so i think having Delon in at any spot is a must for the Mavs going forward.

My point was both are playing out of position.
