I don't care if it's Hornets, Hawks, Pistons, Knicks...we got to win these games. You got to build confidence and not lose to other crappy teams so you get out of that circle.

We're not getting much back for Lauri. I'm sure we can't get first rounders for him. Might as well get vets who can still produce.

Trading him for a low end of the rotation would be the dumbest possible thing you can do right now. His value is at an all-time low. You keep him in the event he's ever able to right the ship. However unlikely it may be.

Benching or sitting him out, however, I would be down with.

It is what it is. I'm sure Lauri's value will not go up. How? He's playing like waiver wire crap after the first game of the season and hasn't bounced back.

He's injury riddled, soft, never played defense, and can't create his own shot. Hell, even Tom Gugliotta is better than him.

Even if there's a 10% chance that he'll get back to last season form, you take it. Grabbing some veteran who will be the 4th or 5th guy doesn't move the needle. Lauri is cheap and not a cancer.

Trading a young dude on a rookie contract when he's in the midst of the worst stretch of his career, when he has previously shown that he could be at least a decent NBA player, is idiotic. I'd rather let him go for nothing at the end of his rookie contract.

So what. It was a once in 200 times that will happen. It's not like this is good for the Bulls right now. It was great..It was a miracle win. Won't happen often though and it's not like it was a team win or anything. This is actually terrible for the Bulls and Lavine. Anything that encourages hero ball is team killing.

Hell yeah, I got slayed. Like some schmuck hitting an inside straight on the river on me when I'm holding trips. But, hey, the Bulls won the game so it's not all bad. I really don't mind being wrong about them losing when it was a 99.8% chance they would with 45 seconds left... about the time I made the posts that everyone is laughing at me for. It's all good. Like I said I don't want to be right about the Bulls losing. I just want what's good for this team long term and that win was probably a BAD thing long term for this team.

I was on subway for entire 4th following play-by-play updates. I was stunned by what I was seeing Lavine do in text (a freaking 34-ft bank shot?!). But still, looked like they couldn't really get it within reach ... in true Bulls fan fashion I still followed until final buzzer. I was in between stops at the 108-113 timeout ... next stop it updated to end of game and I couldn't freaking believe it. I was def the crazy person on the train rest of ride lmao.

Bulls are on a 27 win pace. If that gets us in the playoffs, I'm not sure I want to watch the playoffs.

Just keepin it real for ya

I'll agree with you. Just as I thought: waiver wire crap. Might as well get him off the books clean instead of trading for someone one else who is gonna suck anyway.

Lauri is not bouncing back from this. I have NEVER seen anybody drop off like this unless they have a serious injury. And this kid IS injured. But he's ALWAYS injured. Bench him in the mean time. Being a full time starter is not helping us and him.

All the highlights I'm finding show the hornets commentators reaction. I'm jealous of like 90% of the other team's commentators. I should watch the opponent broadcast more often.

We might win one out of four or five when Lavine is on fire. But overall, it's a crappy way to win a game. Nobody is hitting 13 three pointers on a regular basis.

But, go ahead be happy and have fun. Bulls fans deserve this for a night. Even if it's just fools gold.

If your issue is with Zach this game, then can't agree.

However, if your issue is with Boylen and his decision making with lineups, rotations, and awful defensive scheme then you're right on the money.

We'll continue to struggle to win games, because fact is Boylen isn't setting up these guys in the best capacity to win. Superstars tend to hide bad coaching, and Zach played like a superstar tonight and did just that.

So true to the point. I wish I can give you 100+ and 1s.

I will say this though, Zach is only 24 years old. While he had an awesome game today, you can't expect him to hit 13 three point shots a night. My position has slowly evolved on him over the past few days but he has to add more to his game and they have to use him in a better role than being the primary ball handler. Today was a great example, he took most of his shots within the flow of the offense. He wasn't selfish or padding his own stats. So that is one takeaway from this game.

Also in the second half he started cutting to the basket which is a very efficent way to score. If he can do that more, then that would help his game tremendously.
