Edit: I see, good for Lebs. Probably worth more than that to them

yeah players like him are always underpaid no matter what.

teaming up with Giannis was never realistic, I suppose AD will sign 2+1 next and go from there.

I'm scared that the Warriors sucking next yr might give Giannis the excuse he needs to go to GS

Otherwise he doesn't have any viable options if he wants to team up with another top 7 player

They trynna bury shy guy, but it's cool. Not everybody is meant to play the role of the leader; I think that's probably Harden's biggest flaw as well. This is more about Pandemic P anyway, the world needs them to be the better LA team

I'd be okay with it. By then Steph will have been suffered enough pain, and it makes the most sense for Giannis to team up with someone who complements him the best. Steph deserves to shine one last time imo (esp. considering Klay's situation)

You're sleeping on Dallas, they have an MVP candidate, cap space and a good young player in Porzingis they could move.

You right, Steph is the better player/shooter but Luka is barely inching into his prime and is a borderline top-10 player already with future MVP written all over him. Matters if Giannis is thinking win now or build a team to win later. Dallas FO not exactly proven but better track record than most

Borderline top 10? I think he's a bit higher then that...

It's debatable, there certainly weren't ten players in the league better than Luka last year but he needs some longevity before I put him there

Giannis and Luka are ood fit just like LeBron and Giannis.

You do have to do substantial standing around 3 point line with those two, which a player like AD does very well at. It's not like it can't work, but it's hard to imagine Giannis being okay with and becoming actually good at an unfamiliar role.

He's an iffy fit with a lot of guys, his chit is broke. But if he converted to the 5 he wouldn't have those problems imo. He's big enough to guard the Embiid's/Jokic's of the league and he'd absolutely wreck 99% of centers-- you'd have to take your rim protector off the floor and hope you can slow him down by throwing all your wings at him. On the right team he'd be Shaq

I'm wondering... was the Hornets signing of Hayward a good move, I'm starting to think it was even at his price, are they going to be able to sign someone better than Hayward in the next 4 years while developing LaMelo, Washington, Bridges, Graham... I doubt it.

For starters, yes, Charlotte did overpay to get a very good player to their team.
Looking a little deeper at Hayward's stats, I decided to look at what he did when Tatum wasn't playing last season meaning he moved up as an offensive option for Boston that particular game.
This last season without Tatum.

vs Orlando
22 pts, 14 reb, 5 asts

vs New Orleans
23-6-2

vs Miami
29-9-1

Another game he only played 17 minutes so not a good measuring stick unless you want to say he's injury prone.

Also taking in consideration that he'll be even further away from that horrific injury and with that, gaining confidence in his game again, especially after having tons of money thrown at him.

Hayward may be a steal as a fantasy player.

Tough decision. Who would you start out of DRob, Herro and Bradley if Leonard, Bam and Butler occupy the other three spots?

At least Houston got a first out of it. Proof that you can trade even the most ridiculous of contracts.

Harden is going to be 32 after this season. They want a young stud, 3 first rounders and 2 picks swaps. What contender has that to offer?
