If trading away Beasley, I think Monk could be an interesting replacement

His health must still be bad as Memphis doesn't have any $$ issues, they just don't want him, not even to give him a chance to comeback
Don't think you can commit multi-year MLE $$ for a player like that

Wouldn't mind him on a vet min type deal. I don't know if he has much of a market tbh with his injury concerns

I could see some cap space team doing the 1 yr with 2nd team option type thing so they can roll over their cap space or have him another year if he looks good
if he taking a vet min, would think it would be for a heavyweight team like LAL, LAC, BRK, etc
have a chance to get showcased in a role like Batum was last season

Granted he isn't good from the FT line (.640 for his career).

Looking at the market and the Wolves needs, here are some unrestricted free agents that I would target.
Bargain bin tier ($3M/year or less)
Gorgui Dieng
Dennis Smith
Justise Winslow
Zach Collins
Frank Ntilikina
BAE to taxpayer MLE tier ($4-6M/year)
Otto Porter
Malik Monk
Robin Lopez
Non-taxpayer MLE tier ($9.5M/year)
JaMychal Green
Nerlens Noel
Dan Theis

I'd like Otto Porter if healthy.

Re: Free Agency Thread
Ben Simmons and Rich Paul of Klutch are out in LA
Doogie also noted we've had some interest in Noel

Yeah, I'd put Porter at the top of my free agent wish list. I think he could be a combo forward that is a pretty solid step up from Prince, Juancho, or Layman.

I think his best years and mini comeback came when he was a high usage player who was initiating offense. IIRC him getting point forward minutes was what made him look worthy of his pick for a brief time. I liked him coming out of college but think he needed minutes and role that most teams aren’t going to look at him for.
