Re: Free Agent Talk
I read that in the proposed sign and trade for Derozan that the Spurs might buy out Thad Young and Al Farooq Aminu…..maybe we could get Thaddeus with the TPMLE

May as well got to Reggie Jackson and tell him they'll offer the mle.
Otherwise, not sure who to even target with it after that. Everybody left seems more like vet min guys.

Not many guys 6"10 shoot the 3 above 40%. He can
I can already see Bjelica b ecoming a fan favourite, and OPJ turning into the whipping boy for the board.
I have a sneaking suspicion that Porter Jnr is unfit, overweight and possibly unmotivated. I have no reason really to fall back on for this, but accepting a minimum deal was eye raising. His manager surely could have gotten him something more, and my suspicions are that OPJ's body may be letting him down to the point where he has accepted his fate.
Someone offered him the MLE though
I guess the other way of looking at it, is he becomes super motivated to win 1 last big contract, and that opportunity was the best with us.
I just wonder if his body has changed that much, that he's barely minimum now. The min just looks crazy low from what he was, and when i look at his body in Orlando compared to a few years back, the muscle definition has disappeared.

He looks like Lionel Richie to me. And, I'm not the first one to say it either.

My boy Jock Landale just signed with the Spurs.
Was hoping we'd grab, but happy for him

That explains it...Pop's been scouting, not coaching.
Great for Jock. No doubt he was getting picked up...Spurs probably a better place for him right now.

Is there a chance in hell RJ could sign for 1 year for the MLE? A man can dream.

Uhhh like what? Eric Paschall to Utah?
That's about all I'm expecting at this point. Ready to see what this team can do on the court and go from there.
TPE takes a partner to work with. I don't see it out there really.

So Batum, Mills, and Bazemore get offered equal money by the Warriors and the teams they chose ... how is that Lacob's failure?
They know they will get more PT where they went than they would with the Warriors. That reflects well on the front office and ownership not poorly.

Is Kanter still available? Could use his size.

I'd be interested in Thad being a Warrior. I've wanted them to get him for years.

I wouldn't. Kanter could serve a really good role for us, that is strictly backup minutes. Would love him clearing the glass an setting screens on offense for our backup guys.

I say we help the 76ers out with their Simmons problem...but we sneak in the true gem in the deal, Thybulle.
Wiggins, Moody, Poole...maybe the Minger if they want him too, and whatever picks.
