Cavs look really good against Boston - playing so carefree and the ball moves.

Task is much easier to play carefree when the expectations are in the gutter.

hurts to say but i think mobz is gonna be the better player in the end. He moves so fluid for his size and he can do everything. He will end up being better than anthony davis imo, esp if he stays healthy

I literally said this in the post game thread. Put all your eggs in one basket and try your best to beat the raptors to satisfy your coach's ego and then you can go on and lose 10 straight. That's literally what's going to happen. The Pistons are **** awful. But they turned into prime Lakers on Saturday. Casey had them extra extra extra prepared for that night. And we underestimated them

It's too bad that he isn't more level-headed in his approach. Joining Rogers has brought out almost a Bobcat type persona. Maybe it is necessary to make bold statements as it brings in the casual fans who like reporters calling out everyone.

Some of Will's populist opinions: Bench Boucher - he should not be playing; The Raptors are not respecting their opponents.

He kind of ignores the fact that guys are coming in and out of the line-up and in other cases coming off injuries. Not everything is like 2K where you can swap in players and win because they have 85 ratings.

I think it is too hash on Boucher who is trying a new position, and Nurse is really asking too much on everyone to change their game.

Raptors Republic also mentioned that Watanabe could be in the same situation, where we are happy that he is a 3&D guy, but this year, we may need ball handling and creating off the dribble, so not sure if he meets that expectation.

I think our coaching staffs are trying to play a style that they want, but it is a tough ask for players to adept.
Our PnR handler and roller are among bottom:

I understand the vision but this will be tough for players to adapt, especially ones like Yuta and Boucher who have been in the league a while. Aside from handling, you are also asking guards to screen more which is tough.

Can't teach size.

Pause.

Mobley is damn mobile for a guy his size. The fact that he can shoot the rock, rebound and defend...he is going to be something special. Barring injury.

He's not as good as a roll man so that might be why they don't run it. the numbers were really good with Pascal as the ballhandler in inverted pick and rolls in the last 2 seasons, but the volume wasn't as high.

Against smaller player or bigger player?
My sense is that he is good against smaller player, but settling more long range jump shot against bigger player, probably bigger players let him shoot and backing out against his drive. If this is the case, I personal feel there is no reason to play him at C.

It was against bigs and they would lay back and let him shoot. He was good in the pick and pop to begin 2019/2020 season but then it nosedived.

Shocking.

Killian Hayes cannot hit a shot against the Kings.

I'm working the game tonight. Apparently Dame is a game-time decision.

I think no one knows how to make a proper screen aside from Birch. The others just slightly put their shoulder into the defence and keep it moving. :banghead:

Which theatre you suggest that Nicky should do the screening at?
Remember the Bloor cinema? That place was cool

Was? I think it is still on the go. Actually it is called Ted Rogers Hot Docs. Edward was the idiot that tried to run Masai outta town. I hate conglomerates. Rogers... gross.
