Look at Tobias pretending to be good with his 21/11/4/2/1 line.

Totally tradeable.

Thanks Embiid for being a really good player and caring about Philly unlike Bum Simmons.

How many points would ben Simmons scored tonight with no defense charlotte.

We saw what Simmons did to the wizards last year who ran similar run and gun style.

This is why klutch is so dumb. If they had brought Simmons in to play 10-15 games and people forget quickly

Like people forget how bad demar derozan played in playoffs his last couple of years with raptors and the message boards are saying derozan is all that. Yeah. He’s all that in regular season until teams stop him in the playoffs.

Don't ever compare Derozan with Simmons again please, Derozan is on another level, Bum Simmons wishes he was half as good.

I know it’s easier to blame them, but I’m pretty sure it was Simmons who decided he wasn’t going to play for the Sixers, not Klutch.

Something has to give, because Embiid can't be routinely playing 40+ minutes in regular season games. Problem is, unless he plays heavy minutes this is essentially close to a lottery team.

As one of Simmons biggest nut huggers on the board, I can admit we really dropped the ball failing to deal him for kawhi or harden. Embiid deserves better. Sixers walk to the finals with harden instead of Simmons last year

We get to the finals with Kawhi, Butler + quality, Harden (but I firmly believe it was purely leverage and nothing else, Ben doesn’t work with the Rockets direction either).

I think the biggest mess has always been the FO. It’s a basket case and one of the worst in the league.

The Rockets never wanted Simmons because the owner decided it was better to shred salary and rebuild. That was there direction.

As for trading Simmons for Leonard. You don’t do that trade (at that specific time) due to Simmons “potential” and Leonard one year contract left. No team does that.

That’s why Leonard got traded to raptors. Cause derozan had taken raps as far as he could. Raps were gonna to rebuild if the experiment failed and derozan had 2 years left with player option. The timeline fit both teams.

In any trade both teams have to some objective. However in trading Simmons for spare parts sixers would need to be the one rebuilding and they aren’t unless embiid goes down with season ending injury.

And other teams don’t want to deplete any assets in acquiring Simmons if they want to compete as well.

So that’s why we are stuck where we are at.

Harden was fat & crocked last season

KD played one of the greatest playoff series in history, couldn’t drag the Nets past the Bucks and he’s better than Joel

We weren’t making the finals last season with Harden

We kind of let this game be close. Never had a feeling Charlotte could steal it. Joel was having his way with them. So fun to watch! Let's keep this momentum big fella!

Well Maxey wasn't playing so there's that. He is currently our second most important player after Embiid IMO. But yeah, playing Embiid 40+ minutes in regular season games is dumb, I hope that it doesn't happen more often.

I really hope that Harris is moved before the media catches on to the fact that he is an All NBA Empty Stats guy and always has been. I have to believe that the league understands this (at least most key decision makers), but he is still revered by the media and probably most casual fans. The bellowing, cackling nitwit who passes as our PBP announcer must have touted his stat line three times last night in praising his 'impact' on the game.

You know it's bad when you agree with Doc.

This is hilarious. Can we just give Tobi away at this point. Morey has to know right?

Failing to deal him ? With Kawhi they were unsure what they were getting and for how long. And Morey tried hard I mean really really hard to get Harden. The Rockets just were not going to deal with him.

And what's the deal with Embiid touching the ball on every offensive play. I'm surprised on breakaway plays they don't stop and wait for Embiid to catch up and then try and make a play.

Missed the game, but if you watch this, it's remarkable we won the game. The momentum and energy throughout the entire game was heavily favoring the home team (Bouknight dunk, Oubre's heat down the stretch and the three at the half, Thor's dunk). I know they were down guys, but jesus.

Also, one of the funniest things from this game was the Charlotte announcers kept saying is "Embiid settles" when he takes a midrange shot as if he's not the best 7fter since Dirk to take contested midrange shots.
