It’s been Boston’s year since 2022 hit. It just seems right.
I really like both teams, but I think The Celtics have that extra motivation and fire. They don’t just want it, they need it.
Should be fun to watch.

Lol extra motivation and fire? Magical thinking at its finest. Try to use sensible reasoning

On the other hand, Boston matches up ridiculously well with GS. They have an absurd amount of elite and versatile defenders who can defend at the perimeter. And golden state isn’t as big and physical as Miami and Milwaukee. They don’t dominate the boards either. That’s going to, at the very least, prevent these games from being complete blowouts (at least, I hope it will).

Nonetheless, I have to go with the more experienced team here. Golden State in… idk, seven? Let’s go with seven.

Celtics have had guys miss plenty of games as well.

TimeLord hasn’t been healthy the whole playoffs and missed 7 of 17 games.

Smart missed a game in the Bucks series and 2 in the Heat series and was clearly hobbled.

Horford missed game 1 of the Heat series.

White missed a game of the Heat series.

Sure other teams have carried injuries as well but the Celtics have had their fair share and not used it as an excuse.

You had a fully healthy team in game 6 while Miami was missing Hero and you couldn’t close it out. You had two games against the bucks where your team was fully healthy… and you lost. In fact, three of your four wins in that series was while missing one of those players.

That's the best thing about opinions is everyone can have one. I'll take Tatum over curry as a complete player, especially with the defense.

That's a different argument.

Saying Tatum is more talented than Curry is simply laughable.

Curry is clearly more talented than Tatum.

I think Tatum is more talented when you factor defensive talent. He is just a complete player. If you want to disagree that's entirely fine. I don't think it's a huge gap either way.

Warriors in 6.

If there's any team in the league not scared of going into GSW's house and getting the win it's Boston. This is the moment these guys have been waiting for.

Cool story. We won some fully healthy and lost some fully healthy. They’re tight series, it’s the way it goes.

The Grizz won a game without Ja Morant, does that mean they’re better off without him? I’m not sure what point you’re trying to prove.

Warriors were so close to getting a matchup with Miami which would have been a sweep.

This Celtics matchup is tougher….dang it. If warriors were in their prime, I’d still say warriors 4-0 in a heartbeat. But with the current state of GS, I’ll say GS in 6. Gonna be a tough and physical series.

I dont doubt you believe it but we've heard that 2 straight series now

That said Boston is absolutely our biggest challenge because their style is an exact opposite to ours, and we don't have the perimeter defenders to cover both Tatum and Brown. Matchups are gonna be very interesting for us.. Klay is gonna be on one of them, and that aint great for us

Celtics have had the best defense since January. It's not even close:

Warriors had 106.9 for the year, and the reason that your stat is right and mine is right is because Draymond was injured Jan 15 and missed 2 months..

My guess is Warriors in 5. My second guess is Warriors in 6. I’ll be shocked if Boston can keep up with the Warriors’ depth.

This is ultimately why I think the Warriors will win the Finals. Their edge on offense is bigger over Boston than Boston s edge on defense over the Warriors.

I felt good about this potential series before Friday. Now I’m not so sure, C’s make some dumb mistakes that GS can actually exploit. Physically the C’s are better, you gotta play smart to go along with it though.

Ok that was a weird phrasing. I think Boston has a slightly better defense than the Warriors. However the Warriors eclipse the Celtics much more offensively.

Wait what

Our team fully healthy, which it is now, had a defensive rating that was literally 3 full points ahead of everyone. We lost our best defensive player for 30 games.

But your cherry pick counts? Hmmm
