This would make not going after Murray bad.
$20+ mil short there. Salaries have to match with Miami over the cap.

He's worth it, his numbers across the board have been consistent, the playing time wasn't. The red flag would have been efficiency dropping the playoffs with increased usage, instead his numbers increased while the amount of his shots that were assisted decreased. He's a 20ppg scorer waiting to happen.

Honestly this makes not building thru the draft bad.. Knicks were in the position to give up unprotected first for Murray yet.. the Hawks could cause they have their star player already. We still dont
?

and he was playing with a future hall of famer Luka. On or off the court, Lukas presence is there. He sets the tone for that team. I do believe Brunson would work in NY but WITHOUT Randle

Knicks probably have been backchanneling for months and rhe 2 that we have been linked to most are:
1. Brunson
2. Donovan Mitchell
While Murray may be a guy they hesitated on giving up the protected picks for Mitchell they probably would.
Mitchell has a 6'10 wingspan and has played /can play the SG position and back up 1 spot.
You can make this back court work with players playing multiple spots.

Can't see two 6'1" guards as our backcourt (or anyone's outside H.S.)

If Luka is a "presence" off the court, maybe we should hire Pat Ewing to sit in the stands every game!
