I think Brandon Ingram is the dark horse here. I don’t know why New Orleans would do it but they could be looking to reset with a higher ceiling player.

Believe it or not, a 20 year old that just averaged 22ppg has a ton of value across the league.
He's got all the talent in the world. Just needs to be developed properly.

He's 21 on a bad team. Put Scottie on that team and he would look like an oompa loompa.
I'd trade OG/13th for Green/4th in a heart beat lol.

Inefficient scoring means nothing to me and he has absolutely 0 interest in defending. Hard pass every single time.

OG value is not that high to net you a former 2nd overall pick and a 4th ....would be nice tho

Gobert got that much because he's viewed as a guy that instantly eleavtes your team to a #1 defense, and they thought he'd fit great with KAT.
Lillard might get you 3-4 unprotected 1sts, but from who? I can't think of a team that has their picks and is at the stage to make that move. Simons and Grant are worth about a 1st each.
Is simons trash or something? I don’t watch much Portland, but on paper he looks like a nice young player that’s trending in the right direction?
And nah, I think you might be sleeping a bit on grants improvement and overall growth a bit.
;ab_channel=NBA
Simons is far from trash...Hes just inconsistent sometimes but hes had a stretch where Lillard was injured where he had 30+ 40+ point games. When Lillard came back he regressed but he is someone who would be amazing grab if Siakam goes out the door.
He's alright, but his contract isn't very attractive.

Siakam is set to make 44+ mill a year....OG due for a big contract as well....44+ Mill for a 2nd option is even worse...If we had a 1st option already sure id be willing to pay that....But yeah id much rather Simons contract atm at his age than what Siakam is about to get...+ you get a good rookie under small salary for 4 years.

Get rid of both OG and Siakam and get some serious young assets back.
It's beyond time.

(Though it sounds like more people are mentioning 2-time All-NBA Pascal Siakam.)
But, if it's anything like last year, it'll just be a pages and pages of speculation with nothing happening on draft night.
BK isn't going to trade Bridges. He's exploded like SGA did.
Phoenix should've traded Booker and four 1st picks for KD.
PG Paul
SG Mikal
SF KD
PF Cameron
C Ayton

I doubt Raptors even consider trading Siakam for Miller.
I would agree with this...But tbh Millers upside is also very good....If we wanted a fresh start if we could keep our 13th pick...A team built around Barnes/OG/Miller/Bufkin/Simons would really get me excited and totally change the way our team plays/looks
Bufkin a legit 3 point threat and a all around 3 level scorer...
Miller a 3 point threat with an all around game as well
Simons a 3 point sharpshooter with a decent all around game
Them 3 would add so much spacing on the court it would open up Barnes game to be that Giannis like playmaker/rim attacker.
I like that team than what we have now where we have players that overlap and have the same strengths/weaknesses.
So Siakam for Simmons, #3, and what filler?
I'd be good with Bufkin, Miller and Simmons, playing with OG, Poeltl and Koloko. Build around that core. Better would also include S&T'ing Poeltl for #10 and Bertans. Hell, might as well flip OG to Indiana for their pick and Hield while we are at it.
#3 Miller 6'9" SF
#7 Grady Dick 6'8" SG (or one of the 6'7" Thompson twins)
#10 Cason Wallace or Nick Smith 6'4" - 6'5" PG
#13 Kobe Bufkin 6"5" SG
Koloko, C
Simmons, G, 3 year $24M - $27.6M
Hield 6'4" One year rental, $19.3M, maybe even flip him for a late first or a pair of seconds to a contender at the trade deadline.
Scottie Barnes, obviously, as our PF.
We'd be rookie heavy and trying to tank for one more season, but we'd have a ton of cap space going forward. And we'd probably be much more entertaining.
Please don't roll it back Masai. I don't want to watch that again. I'd rather cheer for potential than the underperforming squad you trotted out this season.

Portland has like almost $40m coming off the books this season. They can easily do a S&T for players to include in any deals for Siakam/OG or both.

100%
Even if you need to take back bad contacts
Even if it risks Jak returning
And then freely move on from FVV even without a S+T

Last year Anfernee Simons' defensive box plus/minus and DWS were last in the entire NBA. Ask yourself if that's a player Masai wants to be tied to for 3 more years for like 26 million a season.
