Imagine being team usa and not only do you have austin reaves on your roster, not only do you play him bulk minutes, you have him taking key shots....

I guess we'll have to trust Kyrie to sabotage the Mavericks and force Doncic to ask out.

Congratulations to Germany! They put together a good team, and they played tough. I had viewed them as a dark horse, but they showed they are deserving of the title.

It seems like Schroder, Franz and Theis have good chemistry together. They complement each other too - a PG, a wing and a big.

And they all played together and were able to develop chemistry at last year's EuroBasket. That's one area where these teams from other countries have an advantage over the US - continuity. Other countries will have guys play for their national team in a tournament and then another tournament the next year and then another tournament a year or 2 later, etc.

The US puts out a whole different team every tournament. Every tournament, the US puts out a team with all guys who have never played together before.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Happy for Theis. He's a World Champ now. Who would've thought Theis at the 4 could work?

The world champion line was probably my favorite - clever..and quick the way he came up with that line on the fly :)

Well, we better win the ring in 2024. Otherwise, we'll all be freaking out scared that Tatum will get hurt in olympics or that the Olympics will put too much wear and tear on him so he'll be less effective by the time the 2025 playoffs get here.

Celtics title in 2024..let's get it!

James has spoken to Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, Jayson Tatum and Draymond Green, and they are all prepared to commit as well. Separately, Devin Booker, Damian Lillard, De’Aaron Fox and Kyrie Irving also have serious interest in committing, league sources said.

Kinda cool how Bron called his buddies and Tatum was on his short list.

The old guys were like "yo if we're doing this at 200 year old we need Tatum to carry the load."

The way the league and players view Tatum is a lot different than even this board does lol.

He's a no-brainer to be on the short list. 1st team all-NBA 2 years in a row. Top 4 in MVP voting last season. Tatum is the only guy who finished top 5 in MVP voting last season who was born in the US. And he's entering his prime, where guys like LeBron, KD and Curry are past theirs.
