I think even Lebron realized somewhere along the season last season that it would be a bad look for his son to play with him. I bet he was secretly hoping some other team would draft Bronny but Bronny isn't good enough so the Lakers had to do it.

That's a low key big loss

We had to release him since he was still under contract. Couldn't we at lest have gotten a second rounder for the trouble?

Who giving up picks for an assistant hc? Better question is why would he jump from this sitch to another given knicks new team

It's a promotion (Associate HC, not Assistant coach)and his boy Mitchell committed for at least 2 years.

I thought Bryant was already an Associate Coach for Thibs.

Maybe, he saw that Thibs is likely getting an extension and wasn't going anywhere so he might as well go for another opportunity.

Nah. He was an associate HC here. He probably knows that Thibs is too tight with Leon to get fired. If things go south in Cleveland, Donovan can help him lead the coup, and he can get the head coaching job there.

Cut that in half after the divorce.

She should get more than half after what he did to her.

Guys like Porter feel like they're big bad men because they can choose soft targets to beat up. Getting shot would be too good for him.

That comes in assault lawsuit. :D

Because at some point Atkinson might get fired and he'll be the head coach

You're totally correct, I had it wrong. I agree that it's probably his closeness with Mitchell and the security Thibs has with Leon that you and Fat Kat talked about.

They probably come from homes where such abuse took place. They don’t have coping mechanisms or abilities to manage their anger. I’m not excusing it. But it takes hard work with a professional to break the cycle.

Donovan is going to use his leverage again when he has the option to opt-out of his contact, and he's going to make sure Johnnie becomes the head coach before re-signing.

Is that enough for him to stay … in Cleveland?
