new stadium. Biid is a perfect heel...and that wears off if he never gets to the top to be knocked off lol. Hell If it was rigged then his Team USA service should get him extra brownie points yo.

This is the angle i was thinking inside my head for months lol thanks for bringing it out.

USA owes Embiid for his service against Serbia

He struggles when defenses collapse on him, especially on drives. His playmaking in those situations needs significant improvement. Right now, teams know he’s almost always looking to score, so they focus on blocking his shot. If he became a more consistent passing threat, defenders would hesitate, creating the split second delay he needs to finish at the rim more effectively.

He has to adjust if refs are gonna call this way and with a frontcourt like the Bucks

Fair enough, but I knew he wasn't. I like his offensive system, don't and teaching of it. He just doesn't adjust with his personnel even as well as Doc did... Because he's so bound by a system rather than fundamentals and play calling. Such as Buddy Hield vs the Knicks when they needed offense badly. Issue was the Knicks didn't leave him open the way the system would like... So they benched him. Not until the last game did he actual run offense that would just get him open outside of the system or as a release valve. Where as Doc became the first coach in NBA history to simply win a game without 1 of his 2 highest paid and top scorers in the playoffs... Nurse just couldn't.

When Glenn is getting praised and seen as "outcoaching" anyone, it's a clear sign of trouble. His three years here seemed like a decade it was so interminable. As bleak as things appear to be at the moment, not ever having to see Glenn or Tobias on the Sixer sideline again is a huge bright spot regardless of anything else.

I'm encouraged in some ways.

We had 6 guys in double figures despite not having Embiid and George. That's some serious depth.

Our rebounding has been a major bright spot as well.

Agreed. I liked the bench last night.

Getting blown out without Jo and PG is not surprising.

I feel totally fine after that loss. I honestly don’t have many questions or concerns with this team outside of Embiid/George. I feel like I know what I’m getting out of everyone on this roster. The questions that will determine our season will always be:

1. Are Embiid & George healthy?
2. Do Embiid & George choke under pressure?

You already know half the answers:

- Embiid is never fully healthy

- Embiid always chokes under pressure

We'll regret not trading him fresh off his MVP campaign and maximizing his value. He now has health issues before the season even got underway and is volunteering that he's unlikely to ever play in back-to-backs going forward. His value already took a massive beating.

I think this is our best depth roster in the past decade, if not longer. Once these new cats jell with the BIG 3, we will finally be able to make a run to the championship while other team with less depth will fade like had in the past due to injuries. I'm just loving our team from the top on down!

Go Sixers!

The NBA has officially launched their investigation into the Sixers. So if we're keeping track, we have:

-Investigation into the PJ Tucker signing
-Investigation into Harden signing
-Investigation into James Harden starting last season DNP
-Investigation into Joel Embiid starting this season DNP

Oh, and pressuring our owner to fire the GM back in 2016.

It's not a conspiracy theory to say that the NBA has it out for the Sixers. It's fact. No other team in the NBA gets treated this way.

You are confusing Joel with my Beard and employee number 25. He showed in the Olympics he'd stepped up big time to win GOLD when it matters!!

That's a GM issue, not on the players which will be taken care of early into this season. Still loving our depth big time!

There's no other team in the NBA that is less transparent with their injuries, so from that angle it's understandable. And Silver always gets upset when stars sit national TV games because the network heads call him and complain. As they say, poop rolls downhill.

I'd love to know what Doc did from a "coaching" standpoint that actually made a different. What did he do, yell out to Dame to start hitting 3's? He tell Prince "don't you dare miss a shot or else?"

Let's be real; his team was barely up double digits at half with the Sixers shooting like crud and missing 2 of their biggest stars. Second half was all about Dame getting hot and the Sixers players abandoning making the kick-outs b/c they felt the 3's weren't falling.

Also note the one investigation the league decided to avoid... their hand picked snake's burner phone account.
