Noticeable changes
-Mikal with ball more in hands
-started playing with more energy on this streak after getting boo’d out the garden.
-Thibs finally started subbing at 5 minute mark in first quarter and trusting bench.
-less complaining even though it seems like we still complain a lot.
-staying infront of guys and letting them feel us on the bump.
-better 3 point contest
-OG aggression on both ends

Changes I want to see
-Get Towns more touches esp with bench. Get him easier shots.
-get some offensive sets when read the game doesn’t get clean looks.
-more Kat/Brunson pick and roll
-stop sending doubles so quickly
-less drop
-Towns more intimidation in paint
-it’s ok to situational sub doesn’t have to be template
-can I get a down screen for our elite finishers?

I noted specifically in the game thread that when they were cooking in the first quarter that almost every sequence the ball touched Bridges and he often got an assist or the hockey assist.

It is pretty clear that when he is a core part of the offensive sets he makes good decisions and we end up with good shot opportunities.

Who would have thought that good things happen when you let the player play up to his dynamic talents as opposed to relegating him to the corner like some Bullock scrub

The FO may have crapped the bed there. They could have locked him up on a reasonable deal, but he could walk to the highest bidder next season

Precious a kind of a weird player. He's good, but not great.
He's been playing REALLY well last, what, 10 games?

Feels like he's more valuable to the Knicks than he is on another team. I think he stays and they find a way to give him some more $

In any case, if you can get a replay, it was that game that you'll truly enjoy watching back. It was really quality stuff.

When I can't find a replay same night, I can usually torrent it at 720pier next day

That's the value of League pass. It DVRs every game in high res with the ability to zip around. Worth the price

Worst? No.

Middling or like top of the bottom 1/3rd? Yes.

Yet it can still be true Thibs is a maniac for not playing them more minutes

Bulls just beat the Nuggets. We need to come out with the same energy and dominate them as well.

I'm fairly certain we keep his Birds because we've had him on consecutive contracts and signed him with Bird rights.

Very different scenario from iHart.

One thing many have already noted that when Brunson sits there's a ton of ball advancement via passing instead of dribbling and Precious was a big part of that. We were great with Brunson on the court and off the court tonight which was pretty cool. Precious played a smart game + moved the ball very well + hustled + was a competent creator off the dribble as well. Sometimes, like OG, he starts feeling himself and tries to take on his man and he sort comes off the rails. But tonight he kept going and didn't fall into the usual traps and turn it over. This plus version of Precious was actually an offensive threat. If he can maintain that then Thibs will put a Precious poster over the ceiling mirror in his bedroom.

I'm sure some people will explain why it wasn't.

Nope, Memphis is not a top 4 team in the league and they just lost to us which further shows they are no good...thibs sucks, we play guys 2 minutes to many, his offense sucks, we play drop coverage, thibs sucks, cover it all?

Find a way to go 3-1 over the next 4 before the Celtic showdown and we could leapfrog them.

Yeah, we have his bird rights, I think if he's on the team after the deadline we resign him. He's valuable IMO, his ability to guard in the paint and on the perimeter is important.

I know despite Thibs being one of the best coaches in Knicks history, how many people don’t trust that he knows what he’s doing, maybe just maybe Thibs and the front office preferred the starters playing huge minutes the first 40 games to speed up the gelling process, plus having a healhy deuce and healthy precious means thibs has not only the trust but the confidence in the bench..

Sitting at a computer eking out a stream on a slow download is not something I'll deal with if I can pay a pittance for the convenience

NBA Pass is now half-price at the half season mark. That's only $49.95 you cheap bastid. You can put it on your Playskool Mastercard

Precious needed to find his way. Hard to do that in 10 mins. He gets back to 20 even with Mitch adds to versatility. Likely 40% from 3 after tonight. Showing off handle and defense. Him along with the entire team wasn’t giving effort. Precious with effort helps us I remember last year.
