IF he follows up thru with it, perhaps Charlie Bell will finally throw us that pizza party

I'm still upset Bobby Simmons never took us all out on the town to punch hookers.
Well, there are alot of us and the hookers would start to get pretty expensive. Plus all of the hospital bills.
Hospital bills would be no worry. When asked to pay, Simmons would just glare at the nurse and shake his head slowly.

You guys shouldn't be talking like that about the symbol of our franchise.

Actually 100 extra people at a game, ESPECIALLY if they are in the lower level, IS a pretty big deal, honestly.
This is pretty damn cool of Bogut, I think. PP25's figure of how much this is costing Bogut is likely too low. Even if Bogut is getting BOGO pricing on $51 seats, that comes to $104,550 for the whole season. I don't care how much money you make, that is still a lot of money. That's about 2.5% of what Bogut is going to net this year of his NBA salary once you account for escrow, taxes, and agent and manager fees.

Buying tickets for 4100 people over the course of the season is pretty cool.

Maybe I'll sign up and get a ticket. That would be a start.

Man, that's just awesome. Thanks for the elaboration.
Good for Bogut and great for the fans.

That's pretty awesome of him to do if he's actually buying the tickets himself and they aren't just comped to him.
Flintstone, if you read this tell Andrew he's got to buy a glittering gold jacket to get someone to wear when they think that the fat lady has sung and the Bucks have the W. He'll know what it means.

I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't set this up with the Bucks to get a HUGE discount.
That said, still cool and you can tell Bogut is a cool guy trying to set this up and fronting some cash.
I think they should have it in a straight line across the stands and require the fans to stand during key moments of the game forcing people behind them to stand.

We need to some how either secure a bunch of free tickets from Bogut or just get a bunch of lower level tickets together. Then we could dress up like steel workers and have a huge sign that says work hard play hard on it.

You'd think it would be set up so the tickets are collected from the box office on the day of the game.

Well details on how to score your season ticket for Squad 6. Eerie similar to Fanatics style type cheer squads.
http://www.nba.com/bucks/squad6.html#So they going to allow drums and trumpets into the arena.

Brilliant. Great idea from Bogut, great for the fans obviously but also great for the team - time to get some atmosphere into the BC. If they end up anything like the 'fanatics' some older folks may not want to sit beside them but they will be heard which can only be a good thing in what appears one of the quietest arenas in the league.
For those who don't know what the 'Fanatics' are, you no doubt will have seen them if you've ever watched a sporting event featuring an Australian participant. They are basically an ever-changing group of aussies who go crazy supporting aussie sportspeople all over the world.
http://www.thefanatics.com/I'm sure Bogut got these seats at a discount, but it's really pretty awesome of him to consider doing something like this with his own cash. The fact that he's even thinking about stuff like this is pretty impressive imo.

This is awesome.
If I read this correctly, Bogut is telling everyone on RealGM that you can get free season tickets here if you can win the audition.
"....Open audition to show in 30 seconds or less why you have what it takes to create a home court advantage this season. If Andrew and his squad leaders like what they see, you'll get one free lower level season ticket and the right to showcase your fanhood at each and every 09-10 Bucks home game...."
There is no reason that 10-20 guys on this board who don't have tickets already couldn't audition and win this. And it will liven things up in the lower bowl.

Couldn't agree more. Twirl and Jerrod get your clown wigs out (you know you've got them), steal some poor kids drum and get down to the BC - your Australian's need you.

The one problem with this is that is it is for the whole season. I can see a lot of dbag screaming for 30 seconds to win the prize and just go to Kobe and Lebron games.
To bad they can't get a line outside of the BC starting an hour before the game. Have an intern let in 100 fans to upgrade to lower levels. Fans must be early, energetic and wearing gear. Plus it rewards the true fans that go to games in Jan.
I just don't want to see something cool like this turn into only 10 people showing up to a game in January because they only have the one ticket in the section and don't want to go alone.

Don't need a clown wig. I'll just dye my crazy fro.
