I will be happy with Roy going into the Hall no matter what cap, with his number put up on our walls for eternity. I am buying a Roy Phillies jersey, I don't care.

Doc lost his first game yesterday. Gave up 5 runs and 10 hits in 7 IP.

Still had good peripherals in the outing, though. Looks like some bad luck with BABIP.

5 K, 0 BB, and 13:7 GB/FB.

Add a three-hit, one-walk shutout...he's now 5-1 with a 1.47 ERA, 0.88 WHIP, 9.75:1 K/BB ratio, three complete games and two shutouts.

Dominant and had some good luck with the balls in play today.

That usually leads to good things.

The NL is like LOLBASEBALL for Doc. I watch all of his starts. It's an absolute joy.

The NL must really be a joke if that Mets team was on a 8 game winning streak prior to that game.

This guy spent his entire career pitching against the Yankees and Red Socks...NL must feel like pitching against Junior High Schoolers to him.

If his ERA is above 2 this year, I shall eat my shoe.

Another great start for Doc. He must be having a party down in Philly.

They actually changed the triple in the 2nd inning to a OF error. So only 1 ER in 7 IP.

I didn't watch the game, but it looks like he may have struggled with control for the first time this year (3 BB).

He got unlucky with errors but otherwise was his usual self. Yes, control was a bit of an issue this time. Not leaving pitches high but just not locating fastballs like he wanted to.

You know you're awesome when "struggling with control" leads to 7 hits, 3 walks and 9 strikeouts over 7 innings...

I'm happy the jays are doing well but the only thing i really care about this year is seeing doc dominate the regular season and pitch in the world series. I have the flyers more than any team on the planet but Go Phillies!

I want the Jays to do well but I also really want Doc to have a great year and get to play in the playoffs.

I remember hearing that Halladay does not talk to the media before his start on gameday. Was that still the case at the end of the year? I am interested in if that would affect how he pitches in the playoffs because I think everybody knows he does everything for a reason and talking to the media would mess with his schedule.
