2. Vince Carter (Bargs is redundant with Frye)
or
3. Michael Redd (Redd is expiring, they'll take the cap space any day)

You would think one of those teams would have to bite. You'd think Nash or Wall could make Bargnani look like a useful piece.

I agree. I just don't know what you could get for these guys. You pretty much have to dump them, or take back a veteran player on a long contract.

BC really should throw the idea of trading Bargnani for Varejao towards Cleveland & hope they bite.

People expecting to get lottery picks for Bargnani are not being realistic.

I think there's a market for him on teams like Atlanta, Orlando, or Milwaukee where he can be hidden. It's just putting together the right package.

I think you can add Sacramento to that list also (and they have cap space to absorb bigger contracts)

I would absolutely LOVE that trade, but it's a horrible trade for Washington. They get fleeced in pretty much every aspect.

I'd do this and RUN!!!!

But I don't think Washington will like this very much. However, I think if you take out one of Jordan Crawford OR JaVale McGee (most likely McGee), the Wiz could bite on it.

^^ one thing I noticed is when Leonsis was talking about his 'big 3' -- it was Blatche, Crawford, and Wall... McGee wasn't mentioned

Phoenix Trades
To Tor: C Marcin Gortat and SG/SF Jared Dudley

Reason for Toronto:
Toronto gets two tougher players. Dudly can back up Demar and the SG and Gortat would be a big defensive upgrade at Center. This allows Ed and Amir to be the power forwards beside a center that will help rebound.

- Draft Harrison Barns, a wing player with poise, defence and a shot to complement derozen.
- Resign Reggie at minimum or close to it. He provides leadership the team needs and can be effective in short stints or to back up for injuries to Davis and Amir.
- Resign weems at minimum, he wont play much but I think there is something to be said for team unity and I think he is friends with a lot of the core players (youngunz).
- Sign Marc Gasol, just throw everything Toronto can at him and hope Memphis doesnt match.
- Toronto can draft their future PG in 2012 with a stronger PG class and replace Calderon. Its not urgent to get a PG this year because Calderon is a vet which we need and will help get our young core touches for another year of development.
- Kleza and Barbosa should be dumped for second round picks just to get rid of there salary if possible before or during the season.

Gasol / Gortat / Dorsey
Davis / A.Johnson / Evans
Barns / J.Johnson / Kleza
Derozen / Dudly / Weems
Calderon / Bayless/ Barbosa

Thats amazing trade. Front court is going to look so solid right now.

Just cause it sounds great, doesn't mean it could happen.

(a) Pheonix would never do that deal.

(b) Toronto doesn't have the money to pay for Gasol.

^^ I don't think there's any way the Kings do that (I don't see them valuing anyone in this draft more than DeMarcus), but if they would, I'd take it and run. That's a young core with tremendous upside

Raptors Trade:
Andrea Bargnani, Jose Calderon and Solomon Alabi, 2013 lottery protected first, 2014 unprotected first

Lakers Trade:
Andrew Bynum, Luke Walton, Steve Blake

Why for Toronto:
We get a great young actual center and rebalance our roster

Bynum / Dorsey
Davis / Johnson / Evans
Johnson / Kleiza / Walton
Derozen / Barbosa / Weems
Irving / Bayless / Blake

Why for LA:
Bynums injury history is questionable and has a huge contract. If they win a championship and phil leaves maybe they look to shake things up a bit?? Walton and Blake are completely unproductive with terrible contracts which they would love to get rid of. They need more production from the point guard position. Reuniting Calderon with Gasol could be great for both players. The Lakers would be a great team to light a fire under Bargs and help him over come his flaws. Gasol and Bargs arn't redundant just cuz they are white, they Bargs has more of an outside game and is much quicker, attacks the basket better from further out, stretches the D.

Bargs / Alabi / Ratlif
Gasol / Odom
Artest / Barns
Kobe / Brown
Fisher / Calderon

^^ even though they move deadweight and get productive players back, I still don't think it's enough to get them to move Bynum. And I also think if this happened, Bargs would come off the bench for that team, where he could be really productive playing next to either Odom or Pau.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=424ueyb

Hawks - Chris Kaman
Clippers - Linas Kleiza, N. Pekovic
Raptors - Josh Smith, Jonny Flynn
Timberwolves - Jose Calderon

A draft pick would most likely need to be included so the Clippers would agree, but still a solid trade I think for everyone.

Wow, Calderon and Kleiza can net us Josh Smith, along with Flynn, I would add our future 1st any time to it.

This is what I want

- Draft Kyrie Irving (please )

Then trade:
- Jose Calderon for Andre Miller + Armon Johnson

I would add a 2012 1st (lottery protected) to get this done if they wouldn't do the above deal but I think they would. If we get Kyrie will be fine and this give us cap space to sign a SF. I'd only give the first if we got Irving

Free Agency:
- S&T Wilson Chandler (9.1 million or under) for Bosh TE + 2012 2nd
- Kosta Koufos for James Johnson in a separate deal so DEN replaces Chandler with Johnson

Or if they'd rather:
Barbosa + Johnson for Chandler + Koufos

- Sign a guy like Fresenko who's a young C
- re-sign Sonny Weems to a deal 7.5 million 3 years

Kyrie Irving / Jerryd Bayless / Armon Johnson
Demar Derozan / Leandro Barbosa
Wilson Chandler / Linas Klezia / Sonny Weems
Ed Davis / Amir Johnson / Kyrylo Fesenko
Andrea Bargnani / Kosta Koufos / Solomon Alabi

I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

I don't know if I want to get rid of James Johnson for Wilson Chandler at this point. If we can have them both, then sure. JJ is young and still has lots of improving to go on what is a base that I think lots of us really like.

You guys could put whomever you want on our depth chart, but as long as Bargnani is on it we're always going to suck major balls..

This seems too simple for someone to not have already suggested it.

1) Barbosa for Milicic + Flynn

2) Bargnani + Calderon for Pachulia + M. Williams

3) Draft D. Williams

4) Sign one of Marc Gasol or DeAndre Jordan

5) Re-Sign Weems & Evans as back-ups

PG: Bayless/Flynn
SG: DeRozan/Weems
SF: D.Williams/M.Williams/Johnson/Klieza
PF: Davis/Johnson/Evans
C: Gasol or Jordan/Milicic/Pachulia/Alabi

They can't shoot, but shooters can be found on the cheap as we fill in the gaps.
