I guess my ideal situation would be Boston losing this game, and Miami losing a heartbreaker (or get swept idc) in the Finals.

I really can't stand that team, especially Grant Williams.....nor a big majority of their fans that somehow believe they have gone without a title in SOOOOOO long.

I like Boston's players, hate their fans. But I hate Miami's players AND fans, so go Boston.

Players I like on either team:
Tatum, Robert Williams, Horford, Butler, Bam, PJ

so that is about a tie.

I love the fact that the Celtics had a Brown charge call at the end of the game and are whining about it when Giannis was called for much worse. There were times Giannis was going around the defender to completely avoid any contact, the defender flopped, and Giannis was called for an offensive foul. So for them to lose this series in that fashion would be fitting.

I’d much rather the Celtics go on to the next round. I don’t like either team much but I really dislike the heat. I’ve been saying they were better than people think all year but I still want them to be considered bubble frauds deep down. Losing to Boston in two different 7 game series is annoying, but that heat series loss brought out real rage in me.

Checked in on the series thread and it's full of Boston fans complaining about flopping. Stunning lack of any awareness.

Miami will only win game 7 if Boston completely collapses.

That's what I have been saying. They are complaining about the Brown charge call at the end of the game and how it should have been a block. Meanwhile, Giannis was called for multiple charges where he went to the side of the defender and they were fine with that.

Complaining about Lowry flopping was even more hilarious.

Last year healthy Warriors probably sweep us. This year too even if we have healthy Middleton.

This Warriors with Curry, Thompson and Draymond are top 3 team in history of NBA. They litteraly changed the way game is played. If they were healthy they would now play for their 6 championship in the row. Honestly NBA screwed them in 2016 finals with Draymon suspension. Without that and if healthy they would now play for their 8 championship in the row.

We are not same planet with this Warriors. We were extreamly lucky last year. Nets injuries, Sixers meltdown, Suns great matchup. In reality we dont have great team at all.

And Boston needed 7 games against us without Middleton. Miami is regular season team without superstar needed in playoffs.

Warriors will destroy Boston in 4 or 5 games. It may be 5 only if Warriors let them win game 4 to celebrate title at home.

I am saying this for months. Warriors will win it this year. Only Jordan Bulls or Magic Lakers could beat this legendary Warriors team.
The team that missed the playoffs would have swept the NBA Champs?

Remind me not to come here in the offseason again. Yeesh.

Meh, don't mind him. He's consistently wrong with every take, that's why he's gone from the board for months at a time. Also, a Bulls fan.

I see the Celtics haven’t won a game 7 on the road since 1974. So I guess a Heat victory would give me one more chance to insert my sour grapes for the Bucks tanking the last game of the season. :vent:

Nobody wants to see the Heat play struggle ball in the finals again. Go Celts
Bucks tricked me into being a diehard in 2001, LeBron is the 2nd best player ever, and pizza is awesome.

Mark Jones in for Breen with a pos Covid test. They should hold out JVG and Mark Jackson too as a precaution lol. Literally anyone else would be better

Just get the Celtics announcers, that's basically what it has been this entire postseason

The Celtics against the Bucks in 7 games:

3FG = 37.7% and 15.7 3s made per game
FG= 43.4%
FT= 20.7 fts per game
Offensive rating = 108.8

The Celtics against the Heat in 6 games:

3FG = 35% and 12 3s made per game
FG= 46%
FT= 29.5 fts per game
Offensive rating = 112.0

Missing a 20ppg borderline all star player and bricking so many open 3s from our best shooters in the regular season and the Bulls series were way more important factors than our defense.

Wonder if Lowry and Jimmy can look fresh and rejuvenated for a second game in a row…

Whatever happens I hope it’s at least a contest heading into the last 2 mins. Playoffs have been starving for some competition.

But I think Boston runs away with it. They need to shoot anything akin to normal and their D will carry them home. Miami is just too offensively challenged - can’t back them.

While I'd love to have a few of Boston's players on our team, I can't think of one that I like. Neutral on R.Wlliams, Horford, Brown.

Would be funny to see Boston blow it and not get to the finals. However Warriors vs Celtics would probably be a much better finals match up than Warriors vs Heat. So I'm torn.

Although the Boston fans/national media meltdown if the Celtics lose tonight would be high value entertainment over the next week.
