You have to evaluate value relative to the role the Knicks would need most out of him.

Knicks would use him as a back up ballhandler and ball distributor as they don't really have any half decent or better ones except maybe Delon.

He would be a good fit for that role w/ the MLE.

The New Orleans Pelicans are trading CJ McCollum, Kelly Olynyk and a future second-round pick to the Washington Wizards for Jordan Poole, Saddiq Bey and the No. 40 pick, sources tell ESPN.

McCollum traded. If they buy him out, I want Urkel here!

Maybe the Wizards can be competitive enough for our 1st round pick to convey

Hard negative on that. CJ -- while a good dude -- declined when he tried to carry NO. Not as good as his Portland days.

I'd dig him off the bench, but (might be wrong on this) I don't think even if brought out, the Knicks can get him.

Well it's a good thing the need don't need anyone to carry them, he'd be the best 6th man in the league

Joe Dumars is having a fire sale right now. Swoop in and send them Hart for Murphy while Dumars is still in delirious mode. Smart GM’s pounce on vulnerabilities.

there is zero chance he doesn't pick this up...he is basically out for the entire season.

Yep, a $43 million a year salary for rehabbing. :D

If they’re trading jokic they’re rebuilding and we got nothing for them. I can’t imagine the price for him.

I feel like the only teams that could afford it wouldn’t want to do it. Chet and a ton of picks could get it done but why would okc do it ?

They aren't trading him. He doesn't even know if the second apron is a hard cap. He never says we are going to, or we may have to trade him. It's clickbait at its worst

They are trying to get him to extend but my belief is he will retire when his contract is up in 3 years. He doesn't scream I want to play into my late 30s to me. He will be turning 34 after his deal in 27-28.
