Trading for him would certainly mean the coaching staff doesn't intend to try to bring our new PG pick along quickly. The PG rotation would be Sexton/Mitchell.

Highly doubt any business is being done with the Jazz

Speaking of Austin Reaves--I see a lot of stylistic comparisons between Austin Reaves and Kasparas Jakucionis in terms of game and NBA role.

Sexton just like Monk are not point guards. They are shooting guards. I still have interest in Monk.

How would yall feel about trading for Ayton?

I would say Sexton is closer to being a PG than Davion is. 6'3 and a good ballhandler. He would undoubtedly play PG for us.

I wouldn't want to touch Ayton with a 50 ft pole. He's very skilled but seems to not have a passion for basketball anymore.

The Lakers will offer him more once they can.

In terms of production, Reaves is easily on par with Jalen Green (3-years, $105M) and Desmond Bane (5-years, $197M), so I would expect Reaves to get 4-years, $120-$130M or 5-years $150-160M, which slightly more than 2x the MLE/season.

For sure he and his agent will be watching to see what guys like Kuminga, Cam Thomas, and Josh Giddey sign for.

You guys fall in love with the most overrated players..

16 points per game, 41% shooting and 31% from 3 in the postseason. Re-watch the first round series for you can see how useless he was.

Every single time lebron and luka needed anything out of him he bricked a shot down the stretch

He is as unathletic as it gets. He cant create his own shot worth a damn. A guy that depends on volume to get his scoring up much like Herro. And youre saying that 4 years 90 million is worth it for him?

Glad he is not part of our plans. We already have that kind of player in Herro.

If he wasnt on the Lakers we wouldnt even know who he is. He is another Max Strus, Ty Jerome type of player

90 million  and he wants 130 million like he is Jalen Brunson

Malik monk is better than Reeves and he is on 4 year 77 million.

Hell ill take Kuminga over Reeves on just age and upside alone because of Kumingas explosive offensive attacks and athleticism

And please, lets knock it off.. Jalen Green is WAY better than Reeves. Theyre not even remotely comparable.

Giddey is better than Reeves. I have seen Giddey’s playmaking ability on the Bulls and he impresses me more.

Whoever signs reeves to 130 million, theyre going to be thinking how the **** do we move this contract after one year.

He is a luxury player that you want coming off the bench. If hes your starter, youre getting bounced the first round

Rank them in order of what you’d prefer if you had to pick:

Herro 3/$150M
Monk 4/$77M
Reaves 4/$90M

He was at the draft last night in an electric wheelchair a colostomy bag, and hospital wristbands on his arm. What a guy Andy has been for us throughout the years. Say a prayer for a real one.

One of the key guys in our FO that is constantly shat on. I believe he had an operation recently.

Player 2 for sure once you factor in the cost of player 1.

I think/hope the Kuminga talk is bull. If we wanted him so bad, why not get him in the Jimmy trade? To come back and offload MORE assets to them would put so much incompetence directly on display. I can't see the FO doing it.

Only way it happens is if maybe a 3rd team is involved and we basically give up nothing imo.

1 year sample sizes without context are very fun, I’m glad you brought up and I’m sorry you took offense to me asking Vertical his opinion without mentioning Bam or pushing him one way or another.

Give me the one that’s the far better playmaker, the FAR better defender, was a key catalyst in almost 3 finals trips, 3 time all star, 2 time Olympic gold medalist, 5 time all defense, 5 time top 5 DPOY finisher over the guy without a single accolade who doesn’t play defense and if you ask all 30 nba team they’ll agree

That was easy.
