Would you guys do Illyasova/Udoh for Derozan/1st(top 15 prot)
It looks like you guys are a stretch 4 away from winning 45.
Maybe the Bucks can make BJ happy again by bringing in his BFF.
Or are you guys just gonna tank for Wiggins?

Masi and the front office are in the market for draft picks (ex. Bargnani for picks), not giving them away. He's all about the draft.

Trade Amir, Gray, Ross and three picks for Aldridge, Harris and Leonard

Lowry / Augustin / Buycks
DeRozan / Anderson / Harris
Gay / Novak / Wright
Aldridge / Hansbrough / Acy
Valanciunas / Leonard / Wilcox

It's a dream, but I believe we can make a trade for Aldridge.

It will take a lot more than that.

I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

I wrote Fields, but I wanted to write Ross...But yes, we must do a good offer to take someone like him.

Demar almost has to be included for salary purposes as I don't see them taking on Fields

Derozan + Amir + Gray + picks

For

Alridge + Matthews

Would be a starting point.

Ofcourse pieces needed to be added to make the deal work. But point being, Charlotte should be our target. They're clearly in win now mode with AJeff there now.

Yea, that's what I was thinking too. No way Charlotte even thinks about something like that.

Working on the Charlotte front though (considering they may want to add to Jefferson), who would do this deal?:

Rudy Gay, two NYK 2nd rd. picks

for

Bismack Biyombo, DET 1st rd. pick, Ben Gordon, and POR 1ST rd. pick

I know many have soured on Biyombo, but he's someone I'd take a chance with. 20 years old, great wingspan, already averaging 8 boards and 2 blocks in less than 30 minutes a game, etc. Can be dominant defensively off the bench for the future.

I'd be fine with this. All I want for Rudy is at least 1 first round pick. I think 2 is not far fetched, considering we got one for Bustnani, but I could accept 1 in the mid first round.

Toronto: Terrence Ross

for

Atlanta: Dennis Shroeder

If we can get ATL to do this, we'll be in a great position moving forward... Shroeder is going to be a really nice PG in this league. I'm really falling out of favour with Ross - it looks worse and worse every day when you think about him coming off the bench behind DeRozan and Gay... his value has a good chance of diminishing.

don't see any reason ATL does it now, Schroder looked promising in summer league. Our best chance at doing something like this was at the draft.

I was hoping for a trade of Ross for ATLs pick to grab Shroeder... but it didn't happen... I wonder if Masai was even looking to deal Ross at the draft..

Toronto trades: Rudy Gay, Kyle Lowry, Amir Johnson. NYK 2016 first round pick, (Steve Novak)

Charlotte trades: Ben Gordon, Michael-Kidd Gilchrist, Ramon Session, Detroit 1st round pick, Portland 1st round pick

So this is obviously a tanking deal for us. We cash in on almost all our assets for picks and prospects and tank the year away. Seeing Wiggins is the prize of the draft and wants to play for us, we put ourselves in a place to draft him. Gordon and Sessions are obviously just one year fillers. I'm not high on Gilchrist but I guess he'd be an ok asset to add to the fold. The picks are top 8 and top 12 protected respectively so while they are valuable, I think some may be over exaggerating their value.

Starting lineup: Augustin, DeRozan, Novak, ?, Val
Bench: Sessions, Gordon, Fields, Acy, Gray

We could look into turning some of our players into a PF for the short term like Scola or something.

Charlotte Bobcats are looking to win now. They've been to the draft a few times and have come up with Walker, Biyombo, Gilchrist and now Zeller and it hasn't been working for them, They signed Al Jefferson to a 3 year deal which means they're looking to win now but have a very poor supporting cast. In this deal they'll get a starting PG, a top 5-7 SF, a supersub type big man and a future first from NYK. They'd be giving away 2 first round picks, 2 expiring contracts and MKG. They pay the price for talent to put around their main piece and guarantee themselves a playoff spot.

Starting lineup: Lowry, Henderson, Gay, Amir, Jefferson
Bench: Walker, Taylor, ?, Zeller, Haywood

They'd also have the MLE to make other small moves.
