Our front office really needs to start looking into other options. I fear we will end up with our pants on the ground, bent over again.

Looking like a foooool with yo pants on da ground!

Carl had Kidd's failed power play with the nets before any of the major sports outlets. He's already out-scooped ESPN, I can't take what he says lightly.

I know about the Kidd thing. That means he heard something at some point, from somebody. That doesn't mean he has some consistent pipeline to inside information. He's just another guy from the internet who at one point came across some information.

It's not about believing Reggie, he's probably correct. The thing is, this is nothing new between players and management. Shaq hated Lakers management, MJ, Pip and Phil all hated Bulls management. Doesn't really mean anything when it's time to take the court.

But what exactly has Bulls management done to Derrick other than annoint him as the city's own and showered him with generational wealth.

What exactly has the Bulls FO done to irk his camp so much?

Nothing. As far as P4P's examples those were both post championships when egos were insane.

This would be an entirely different scenario IMO. How much attention was the national media paying to the Nets right before the Kidd departure? Next to none. Everything was about the draft and impending free agency. How much attention is the national media paying to the Melo situation? A lot. Not 100% undivided attention, but a lot. I'm gonna guess it's a bit different to beat all the big dogs to the story when they're actively following the situation 24/7.

Carl broke a monster story before the media, you have optimism. I'm worried, buddy. Carl's sources are real, not imagined. I'd love to discredit him, but he's already broken one huge story in NY. Wouldn't be a stretch to assume he knows something about this.

Hope we didn't gut our roster for a guy who's only a good fit with something similar to our current roster construction.

Think about this...
Melo/Lebron/Pau and whatever PJ puts with the team will be worse than Miami. Take away Pau, and their still no closer. I am doubting this guy until I hear something official.

If there is a rift between Reggie and the front office he probably does not know everything regarding the Melo situation. Still this is bad news

Especially since it's been so discreet.

He's being vague but implying things about Melo and a person who wears #16, but apparently the deal is so volatile that a hack GM could come in and ruin the deal! But since the information leaked here, in an effort to keep us from leaking it to various hack GMs, he said that we've actually won the Melo sweepstakes.

I'm going with Bawl > Carl.

KC Johnson. You obviously lurk here. Go take this to GarPax now, hurry.

I can't take much more of this.

My internet search history is probably less embarrassing than the amount of hours I've spent reloading for updates today.

What, seriously? 206 And 1's for that post?

Apparently, when moderators try to moderate, they are being 'trolled' with and1's. Ben got drowned with and1's in the same situation.

Derrick's is post MVP. Hey look, you guys wanna stress out over every non perfect relationship between player and management, coach and management, player and coach, be my guest.
