Yep, it's him. I think Andy Lange is next to him. God forbid Upshaw dives for a ball out of bounds near that vicinity. It'd be just our luck, eh?

No, but I did read that he was going with the team.

That groan of disbelief you just heard? That was Sixerkitty traumatized that Embiid was not in a purple + gold tank top. :king:

maybe it will put his bone back in place? Unrelated, he flew in from Philly which is interesting seeing as he lives in LA. Maybe Philly is a suburb of Los Angeles.

Embiid Updates/Discussion

Post#1245 » by Ericb5 » Sat Jul 11, 2015 2:36 am

I'd love to see these multiple reports of Embiid's problems with training. AFAIK, and I follow this EXTREMELY closely, there was an incident on the road once, and a statement from Brett Brown about how Embiid wasn't great at points early, but how he had been great once he started being able to get on the court.

His record of effort is excellent.

The idea of him not being 100% committed to his rehab is completely false.

There are NO issues with him right now in terms of effort, or commitment that any of us are aware of at least.

This is a non issue.

His medical condition is his medical condition.

I believe the one and only report was during the west coast trip when Hinkie sent him back to Philly.

Scott O'Neil, sixer's executive, just tweeted we will likely get the Embiid update next week.

Seems probable that next week it is.

FWIW, Former Cal player and Draft Express blogger based out of SoCal, Rod Benson has said he's seen Embiid out getting banged up a bunch. "And dude isn't even 21 yet."

What's the problem. He can go out and party and get girls like single guys should do. FYI embiid doesn't drink ! He's 21 but my freinds lawyer says all he does is drink Shirley temples! It's his favorite drink lol.

Yeah it's pretty well established that Embiid doesn't drink. Have heard the shirley temple story from several different people haha.

Let the guy live, he's a 7 ft giant it's prolly tough for him to get a night out as it is, he's dead serious when he's on the court

It's almost been a month since we heard Embiid had a setback and you would think if he needed surgery, that it would of been scheduled or done by now, they would probably want to get him under the knife ASAP.

Gotta go with he'll be ready for start of the season.

doubt it. Now im gonna be negative. I think as others have speculated. Its probably the bone stopped healing and some doctors say get the surgery and others say nah its fine.

When it comes to Embiid, there is no negative or realism just positivity, lol. If it still isn't healed, I hope they get it fixed unless there is some type of guarantee that it can't get worse.
