Oh please. The chances are much greater that Fultz will be the next Ben McLemore than the chances that he will become a superstar. I've watched a chunk of the publicly available film, and Fultz is not only a mediocre defender, he's an unwilling defender. Jalylen Brown put his finger on this a few weeks ago.

This trade also tells me that Ainge and Stevens really like Isaiah Thomas long term. If the had drafted Fultz, IT was a goner because there is no way that the two of them could be on the floor together.

I'm still hoping that the Celtics get a player out of the deal. Saric is too much to ask, but I'll take Richaun Holmes.

It's good that Boston will be holding on to IT for the long term.

Then who should we compare him to? Fab melo? Number 1 picks are expected to be a franchise player and that's exactly who they have been in recent history.

Lebron and Duncan prospects are transcendent, Fultz is not

I'll settle for questionable prospects who were consensus number 1 picks by the draft like john wall and kat. That's the type of players going number 1.
