Grant Williams: I think NBPA leadership will meet with Kyrie Irving
MassLive spoke with Grant Williams ahead of Friday’s game with the Bulls about whether union leadership will be addressing the issue with Kyrie Irving. “I think we will but currently, there are a lot of matters as well,” Williams told MassLive. “I think we’ll get together as a group potentially — everything has been through the team. It has been not been a league issue to this point. It hasn’t been an NBA/NBPA issue. The Nets and the league have taken care of that and dealing with Kyrie and the process there. We don’t have much control on that matter.” – via Brian Robb @ Booth Newspapers
Top Rumors, NBPA, Grant Williams, Kyrie Irving, Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets
Williams told MassLive that he has not directly spoken with Irving about the situation yet but strongly denounced any kind of hate speech. “I haven’t had much communication with him on the manner,” Williams said. “For me, I’m trying my best to educate myself on the situation, understand what has been said and has been done. You don’t promote any type of hate speech or anything like that. You do your best to stay informed on the matter and gain all the information before making decision to support each side. You try your best to educate yourself and outside of that, I don’t have much to say because I don’t know much about the matter because I’ve tried to keep my eyes on the right thing and moving forward.” – via Brian Robb @ Booth Newspapers

Bol seems to have matured some since being drafted by Denver. At the time he expected to be drafted much higher and to receive a much larger bag. Shaq has been supporting Bol for many years.
It's good to see him doing well.

And best Net rating of ORL
He has really matured, and I also didn't expected this improvement, at least not so fast

Kawhi Leonard first start of the season tonight:
6pts (2/8), 5rbd and 4ast "only" in 24min, but +26 Plus/Minus (by far the best of LAC)

I have always liked this young man.
Killian Hayes ended Friday’s loss to the Lakers with 18 points, nine assists, two rebounds, a steal, a block and four triples.
Hayes turned in his best game of the campaign, setting new season highs in points, triples and assists while contributing with two defensive stats. Over his last five games, Hayes has averaged 11.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 2.0 steals, 0.4 blocks and 1.6 triples. He’s been a super streamer with Cade Cunningham out, and he’ll remain one until Cade returns.

Fun thing is that after tonight games, both IND and SAC are 5th in their conference with a 9-6 record, and both 8-2 on the last 10 games!
Not sure anybody would have imagined that after 14 games

It looks it sorted by Touches per game only, and Trae is at 74.4 (Murray at 70.4)

Floyd Mayweather has offered 'a little over $2 billion' to buy NBA team
[https://hoopshype]
Floyd Mayweather didn’t deny the possibility of seeking ownership for a potential team in either Las Vegas or Seattle as well as an existing team. “It could be the Vegas franchise. It could be the Seattle franchise or I could be buying a franchise that’s already up and running,” said Mayweather. “So the first offer, we offered them a little over $2 billion for majority ownership. Do I have it? Absolutely, I have it, but it didn’t happen overnight. It didn’t happen overnight. It’s a lot when you have so many different businesses all around the world. It’s a lot.”
Mayweather indicated that he and his business partners continue to pursue the purchase of an NBA team. Mayweather didn’t indicate which franchise was in his sights but indicated that the pursuit has been in the works for an extended period. “I’ve been working on buying a NBA team outright,” said Mayweather. “One of my other business partners, Brent Johnson, he’s here. So we’ve been working on the NBA team for a while now. It’s kinda, it’s rough.”

NOP confirming their first place in the Western Conference by beating PHX 128-117
Zion was a beast with 35pts/7rbd/4ast and NOP were +30 with him (next is Alvarado at +13)

Kyle Kuzma coveted by Sacramento, Phoenix, and New York?
Kuzma (27), however, is a flight risk and precisely the kind of player many rebuilding teams would covet in free agency. He could be a top-five free agent this offseason—at worst, top-10. “He wants out,” an NBA source said. “He’s looking for over $20 million a season and in a big market [or with a contender].” Kuzma is believed to still be on the Sacramento Kings’ radar after they missed out on him in 2021 when the Los Angeles Lakers traded him to Washington instead of Sacramento. The Kings can’t trade a first until 2028 (due to protections on their obligation to the Atlanta Hawks for Kevin Huerter), but they could build a deal around Harrison Barnes with that distant pick and/or prospects like Davion Mitchell.

"The Lakers have discussed sending a protected first-round pick, as well as salary like Patrick Beverley, to the Pistons for Bojan Bogdanovic, sources tell me." NBA Insider @ShamsCharania reports on the Lakers pursuing shooting in the trade market.
