But man i sure would have loved to see Springer with a chance to walk off in a world series like Joe Carter. Anyways such is sports and no one is perfect. The game loss still comes down to our top of line up not getting anything significant against Yamamoto. Tomorrows a new game and all these need to be forgotten.

Springer would have been walked anyway if there was 2 outs and 2 on

People have talked a lot about wanting to change the lineup. While I don’t think they’ll do that, it would probably make sense to move Lukes down. I want Vlad getting the extra AB there, not a guy who we may be looking to replace this offseason.

I think doing a top 4 of

Springer
Vlad
Barger
Bo

Makes the most sense lineup construction wise, whens the last time Lukes hit a HR the Friday night Tampa game? Lukes should be in Bargers spot. Maybe you could move Varsho down to 6th? But I doubt it. Ernie could take Kirks spot i guess since hes banged up.

Works for me, but I don't think they'll make a change at all.

Dodgers only scored in ONE inning and we outhit them 8 to 4. This is an even more devastating loss than that 18 inning game. Hope they get blown out 20 to 1 tomorrow with how much bad karma theyve sown this series. Teams who beat themselves dont deserve a World Series.
One quick swing against a reeling team and a bad baserunning error does not equal a team that deserves to lose.

I mean I'm now almost convinced we will lose because of my own personal life having gone so horribly lately but when we look back at this series in totality we were easily the better team.

Maybe last night's 9th inning implosion is just how it had to be?

Thats why this is so maddening. We've been the better team in EVERY game except game 2. We literally beat ourselves in games 3 and 6. The Dodgers have been incredibly mediocre this series, especially offensively. Nowhere close to their regular season norms where they were the 2nd best offense in baseball. Losing to them when they have basically been the worst version of themselves would be the most deflating thing ive ever seen.

lmao. these guys are just killing themselves over and over again. Like i said yesterday, they dont deserve to win with these kinds of backbreaking doubleplays. Just braindead at bats, braindead baserunning, braindead defensive plays. The Dodgers are not better then them, they are just more experienced and more poised. And thats why they'll win tonight.
