No chance

nope...this is the same okc team that was pushed to 7 by a subpar jokic and with no one but braun coming to play

they can't afford to goof around

Aaron Gordon is how it got to 7.

Like I've been saying, these are 2 evenly matched teams. Game 7 seems fitting, hopefully we get a classic.

G7s almost always disappoint.

Last decent game 7 of the finals was probably 1994 tbh

GS Vs Cleveland was good because it was close and a nail bitter.

No matter how the Pacers play, the series will be over one way or another lol.

Depends on which one you use. If you used one that is able to search online then you would get it right. Was probably the earliest data it was given when trained.

Just another thing riding on Game 7:

If the Pacers pull it off, Rick Carlisle would become only the fourth coach in NBA history to win championships with two different franchises.

Alex Hannum accomplished it when when he led the 67 Sixers to victory(after having won it with the 58 Hawks).

Phil Jackson accomplished it when he led the 00 Lakers to victory(after having won six with the Bulls in the 90s).

Pat Riley accomplished it when he led the 06 Heat to victory(after having won four with the Lakers in the 80s).

That's it. That's the list.

I feel like the more we talk about odds/chances/stats/etc that are against the Pacers they'll just magically defy them and play better. We need nobody to believe in the Pacers and they'll probably win it.

Yeah, they aren't all time greats. Great teams would have easily put away this Pacers team. I think their issue is that they are so damn young.

They can be an all time great quasi dynasty depending on how well Chet develops. They need a reliable third option that can rebound and defend the paint.

Chet has the tools to check all three boxes, but he's not strong and doesn't hold his position well at all currently. Do they try to develop him some more, or swing a trade for a third wheel star? They have the assets and teams still value Chets potential. Win or lose, they're in the driver's seat. It wouldn't surprise me if they turn into a modern version of the Tim Duncan/Pop Spurs.

OKC fans loudness and being into the game doesn’t come close to this Pacers fans

I’m sorry but they don’t , OKC have prob 3 rd worse atmosphere in their arena maybe just a tad better than Bucks and Heat

Are you trolling or do you actually think that

he's gotta be trolling. I have Indy's crowd being slightly better these finals but OKC is VERY close to being THE best

Regardless of the result of game 7, the Pacers deserve massive props for pushing this to 7.

Thought it was kind of odd too. I thought one of Phil Jackson, Gregg Popovich, Larry Brown, or surely Red Auerbach was older……maybe I’m getting old and my time perception is messing with me

I guess it's a combination of Carlisle not looking as old (since he shaves his gray hair) and those guys having all been in finals a million times (well, Pop and Phil), so it felt like they were older than they were.
