Maybe Riley's gone mad and trying to fuse all 4 together for science purposes to pro-create Wade.

Timing is everything

Had Wade started getting serious about leaving sooner, the Knicks would have signed him instead of Lee

Even if Waiters hadn't shaken loose, what's the upside of bringing ellington on? Better players were available and for much cheaper contracts. At no time he is worth that much even for one year. He's not helping you win more games this year and he doesn't have upside like a Derrick Williams or Dion Waiters who are still in their early 20s

We have good young talent, to soon to tell how good.

Whatever you think about the Wade situation, don't throw **** on the current players and team, it doesn't make him or you look better.

It's not throwing **** on current players if you don't think we have a contending core for the next 5 years though.

we wouldn't contend with Wade as our best player either, that's the biggest reason of why he ended up leaving. So why are you commenting about "nobody is throwing a franchise behind Winslow" and "We don't have a single Championship building block except possibly Whiteside". Is 35 YO Wade more of a Championship building block then our young guys?

TRUUUU, I kept that beach front property with the mango tree outback next to the coconut tree on Waiters island just for a day like this!

I'm not the biggest fan of my man Kobe Wade, but I do think he has enough talent to gamble on at his age. He showed flashes of competancy and overall positive impact - especially defensively - on a great team. I do like this deal for two reasons.

1. its on 3 mill. i thought he was going to get a ludicrous deal this summer.
2. This might be the first time that he will have to legitimately fight for a role on a team. okc brought him in and marginalized reggie pretty easily and he had constant minutes there. He had a guaranteed role in Cleveland. This time, he's got to beat out Tj, ellington, and Weber for minutes if he wants to prove himself and get paid. This should be interestinggggg

I like Goran-Jrich with TJ and Dion backing those two up. Dion could do good in a 6th man jamal type role and he could fit with TJ. Ellington has no place in that what so ever.

I really like this signing the more I think about it but I just wish we threw some money for even more youth in the frontcourt. Terrence Jones went for a 1 year minimum, and Christian wood got 2 years minimum. They would've been nice projects in our system.

I really would've liked Wood. He could've been the 4/back up 5 of the future.

For right now and probably for next year, Wade definitely is. And with all the money they are spending and with Bosh forcing his way back it seems like they are trying to win games this season and not tank.

If you told me before the offseason started we got Dion I would be furious but considering everything that's transpired I like it since its a cheap 1 year deal. I just really hate the ellington signing. I even like Babbit more than Ellington

I just don't get it. Waiters? Really?!?

Whos minutes he's goanna take?
TJ?
Rich?
Justise?

Why did we sign Ellington?

WTH

Rodney McGruder might actually be a more deserving SG.

If he takes minutes from TJ or Rich or Winslow, I swear I'll lose it.

Except I didn't make those claims with Wade, so somehow making those claims without him when he was by far the best player strikes me as strange.

To your other question, if you're making a Championship run in the next 2 years, then yeah...I'm taking Wade over anybody else on this roster.
