I've seen people mention Bagley a bunch, but if there's any player on Sacramento we should be targeting, it's Harrison Barnes. He would help in the shooting and spacing department - he's basically been a 40% 3-pt shooter for the past 4 years.

There's lots of talk that Sacramento wants to move on from his salary, which basically matches Dragic's perfectly but he has an extra year. I wonder what else it take to get him when we'd basically be offering one year of salary relief? I wonder if Dragic, Flynn, and a top 20 protected 1st (dropping to top 15 protected next year) would work?

I wouldn't be too eager to give up a first for a non-needle moving player like Barnes when we are rebuilding. Maybe if we were a move or two away from being a real contender and he fit a need perfectly, ala Gasol in the Memphis trade.

So many of these things get written and talked about these days, and so many sports reporters and commentators have to fill pages/time that I just assume everything is pure speculation unless they directly say, "I heard from a source in the Raptors organization that..." and even then I take it with a grain of salt.

I don't think there's any way that Masai and Bobby are looking to trade Pascal in some sort of package for either Collins or Turner.

Looking at the Raptors rn, Simmons by himself could easily make up for the loss of Fred, OG and Scottie.

But Nick would have to go with a four man "rotation" - for the entire season.

I love to watch him play, his d is great. But his energy levels are at about an 11 out of 10. He’s playing for that contract.

He definitely looks like he could be a valuable bench piece on a championship contender, but we’re not there yet and our cap dollars are spoken for.

Prediction: 2 years from now, when the raptors are contenders, there will be a sentiment that we could use a Boucher type off our bench.

Flip Boucher and a 2nd for Coby White to finally get a good backup PG.

That sets up a playoff rotation of....

Boucher is worth more than Coby imo. I wouldn't give up a 2nd. Edit: just looked at Coby's stats, you may have a point, he's been really productive the past month, although not great defensively

I do that **** all the time and I'd upgrade in a heartbeat in some of those scenarios.

Still think Masai is too busy savvy to let emotions get in the way. If a good deal is on the table, I'm guessing Masai and Bobby listen.

I see where this poster is coming from. 2 or 3 times a game Precious grabs the refund, dribbles down the floor, posts up and acts like he's Kobe taking a fadeaway while his teammates are all calling for a pass.

You could say low IQ, black hole on offense, he plays with blinders on, whatever. Or you could say he's not a team player.

I chalk it up to bad b-ball IQ and maybe it's fixable and maybe Nurse can get him to change, but maybe not.

I'd do Dragic/Flynn/Precious plus a protected first, but I'd make it lotto protected vs top 10. Point is moot tho as Masai ain't trading him
