Tubelis!!! Iv'e been pretty good at identifying players around 20-35 range with Bane, Kessler, Laravia and this year, I like Azoulas Tubelis if can get a late 1st. I think he's probably an Alperen Sengun level prospect pre-draft. Weird how he get mocked in the 2nd round. He can finish with both hands, seems similar but not as good Domantas Sabonis. I think we trust FSU and Arizona scouting to find players like Markkanen, Mathurin, Koloko etc.

The only issue with Tubelis is he provides nothing we need. He's not a long distance shooter. He's not a great defender. Plus we don't need another project big to develop. We have enough I think. I can see him do well on the Pelicans or Memphis. 6'11" wingspan is not long considering it matches his height. He's a good player but this is not a great fit.

To me he'd be a solid dependable bench player like a Brandon Clark level player that can hit FT's play some spot C and shoot the occasional 3. He's be a great glue big and can dump all of Juancho, Khem Birch etc.

Re: Scoot,

If Detroit gets the 2nd pick and we're say 7th, they might be interested in something like #2 + ___ for Siakam and #7, as they'd have a lineup of Ivey-Cade-Bogdanovic-Siakam-Duren with their draft pick (let's say Cason Wallace since he fits nicely), Bey and Beef Stew as the bench, which is a decent young team and their best hope of winning at least 30 games next year.

This will be their 4th straight year winning under 25 games, and they haven't won 45 games or a single playoff game (!) since George Bush was president (does that sound worse than "the Iphone was released?"). We might catch them desperate.

Ricky council looks like Arkansas best player at times, being mocked in the 2nd. He's nice

I'd give him a hard look at 6 if he's still there for sure.

But I highly doubt he will be.

This looks like a tough draft for me to gauge, because the Thompson's are playing in a junk league.

Brandon Miller I've watched a few times and I just get bad vibes from how he plays. Maybe it's the college game but aside from outside shooting he's kinda sweaty on offense, doesn't seem to see the floor all that well. He's really productive. Should be a lock to go top 5.

There's some tertiary prospects like Black and Cason Wallace that I love. Just all around ballplayers, but I don't think either has all-star potential. If our pick ends up in the 5-15 range I'd be happy with either.

Today Black was whack. Nick Smith played on a few games and was the obvious leader of that team. I expected more from Black today. George was nice, coming back from a bad showing but Ricky Council kept Arkansas in it. He's a true scorer plus he can defend a bit. He should get more attention but that team has good talent that's playing crappy in Conference play.

Thompson twins are wildcards. Draft "experts" have them in the top 5. But real GM's may have them further down

3 is going to be a really tricky spot. The twins have the most theoretical upside, and Amen is probably my choice, but there are absolutely scenarios where the shooting never comes around and their touch inside the arc proves too be just not good enough. Miller is great and helps any team in the league, but do you really want to pick a non-athletic complementary piece at #3.

I think Cam is the pick. He's playing out of position on a meh team, but his tools are undeniable, and he's got far more to his game than the bully ball label some want to give him. He reminds me a lot of Jaylen Brown at Cal (similar talk about his game in draft circles as well), but has a far better looking shot and is much more coordinated. He's going to take a couple years to be a consistent positive on offence, but I feel fairly certain he gets there.

Couldn't agree more. He's a major steal if he were to fall out of the Top 5. Truthfully, I can't see that being the case though.

I feel like organizations are much smarter than before but a move like this would for sure have worked in like the 2000’s and 2010’s. I proposed something similar if Portland wins the 2nd pick of the lottery. It’s a small chance but you never know. If you offer a team a 25 point 8 rebound, 6 assist guy like Siakam they would have to at least think about it right?

Hard to take one of them with the likelihood that they will be compared to each other for their entire careers...and the chance of getting the lesser of the twins as the first of the two picks would be hard to live down.

They are so evenly matched at this point. It isn't like the Lopez brothers where Brook is clearly the more talented twin. They both seem very tantalizing in their own ways. If I had two picks back-to-back...maybe take both like the Vancouver Canucks did with the Sedin twins.

For this reason I might steer clear of both of them if I had a pick in the top 5.

Edey should probably be drafted late in the 1st. Azubuike was taken in the 1st.

Ivica Zubac has made a career thus far.
