Carmelo Anthony will break ya hearts, just as LeBron did last summer.

He will go to Nets, because they have the package that Denver wants.

Sorry we don't wanna follow the Atlanta Hawks model to being mediocre.

Seriously though. If Melo never mentioned he wants to come here, his name would never be on my list. I would go for extending Chandler to a reasonable contract and go for a big like Nene. I would also try to make sure I had enough flexibility for 2012.

How so? He was the best available FA after LBJ. Remember that Wade was never in the market.

The plan was LBJ plus Amare all the time. So we really accomplished half of the plan A.

stop, majority of this board saw Amare as a risk. T|his board thought they had LBJ all the way till the desicion. And bashed Amare and his knees and then started singing a different tune. Most whether they admit it or not loved Bosh.

anyway Donnies List and Most People here had ..

LBJ
Wade
Bosh
maybe Amare...but again most were treating Amare like an after thought until he actually signed here.

Like I said, if Melo gets that money...I aint mad at him. If he comes to NYC I am happy for us...If he stays in Denver, I aint mad, GET THAT MONEY!

But if he does the Jersey thing, he is crazy, dem nets will always be 2nd fiddle to THESE KNICKS and aint no one on NJ as good as AMARE STOUDIMERE, so he needs to think about that too!

We are not GMing by committee here. Those plans are not made on these boards. So if you decide what the plan A is according to what is said here, you are really very naive. Walsh's plan was LBJ + Amare. Your Donnie's list is simply imaginary. Donnie knew all along Wade was never interested in leaving Miami, he actually said so and I highly doubt he ever perceived Bosh was max worthy.

Last time I checked Wade had meetings with other Teams.....and If Donnie knew who was and wasnt on the market, why do a desperation deal with Houston to wait till 2012 ???

Because he wanted to sell the idea o being a team with 2 max slots. I believe the plan was always LBJ plus a second max cat be it Amare or Ru Paul. I am actually happy we never got ru paul as for that we could have kept DLee and been better off.
Donnie knows how to build a team correctly. Say what you want he did a decent job of building complete teams. If given a chance he will do that here. He has had a plan and that plan was built on clearing out Zeke's contracts and building on the draft and cap room so far I would call this a good year.
We are ahead of schedule. Even with Amare I would expect a 500 team but given the cap room and the players he drafted /signed and 1 Zeke player they are in the running for a second max cat via trade or signing them out right. All those calling for Donnie head has to admit has done a pretty good job, clearing the dead weight and helping turn the team around

of course he was priority !!!!

Plan A
Plan B
and
Plan C

all Bailed...They were dropping like flys and it was a panic move. Next Plan was Melo. If that fails also, things need to be reevaluated.
