I love you for even acknowledging me and we just bust chops . And maybe i want Melo too much. But do you think this reported deal is too much ? And i know he is not in rumored offer but what do you think is Mosgov's celing?

I think the deal is too much, because I think it should either be the Felton/Billups swap or Gallo. Not both.

I think Mozzy's ceiling is an extremely athletic and mobile 7 ftr who can run the pick and roll, and eventually the pick and pop.

In response to your Asola painting the Dolan/Thomas picture.... I share similar views.... As one of his tweets mentioned, Dolan puts the team plans/negotiations/how we run/what players etc etc in Donnies hands....but when it comes to whoo-ing the players, and getting them to join the force - he perhaps feels more confident in having the former great player (not to be confused with gm or coach) around....... it worked on Amare, did it not? So long as that's all he is used for, and Donnie is ultimately pulling the major strings, I don't have a huge problem.

That's true Isiah pulled in so many big names during his tenure. Names like Curry, Crawford, Marbury and Zach are going to be echoed throughout history.

Because there are still reports that DEN wants more. It was about 10 pages back that thy said that they have the parameters of the deal but each side wouldnt budge on adding Fields or Moz.

why are you guys that are saying we can trade gallo and felton not understanding that it's not about trade them for carmelo, it's about them being future assets to trade for better players next year. And the bottom line is this felton is better than billups right now. we are essentially trading Ed Curry and Chandler for Billups, and trading AR, Gallo and Felton for Carmelo. They want to get Bilups off the books and instead of including Azubuike and Bill Walker we offer Felton

Den Gets: Gallo, Chandler, Felton, 1st via Min, cap relief
Min Gets: Curry, Randolph, $3 Mil

hefty price... can't know for sure if we're overpaying or not simply because we don't know for sure if 'Melo was willing to go to FA. If he isn't, which I assume he's not, then from a pure talent perspective, we win the deal. We get our two superstars, but we give up a lot in the process.
