I can see MDA in the post game presser answering Berman and Isola as to why he didn't let Bis' play and Mike saying he's not ready and Shawne Williams or some other non-center is just playing better than him. All while we get mauled inside night after night. The Knick coaching staff doesn't seem to want to or have the ability to develop big men...especially big men without a jump shot. No way in hell are we gonna draft this guy no matter how much we know we need him.
Remember, Mike said he'd rather play with 5 midgets.

Not sure if this was posted or not but, Lucas Nogueira pulled out. Smart choice for him, he simply wasn't ready and should improve his stock.
Davis Bertans Union Olimpija (Slovenia)
Bismack Biyombo Fuenlabrada (Spain)
Nikola Mirotic Real Madrid (Spain)
Donatas Motiejunas Benetton Treviso (Italy)
Jonas Valanciunas Lietuvos Rytas (Lithuania)
Jan Vesely Partizan (Serbia)
All these guys stayed in. Vesely, Jonas, Motie, Biyombo are all first rounders. Bertans and Mirotic are late first/early second guys.

More importantly, those guys are all going to go ahead of, or around our pick - If any of those guys had pulled out, it would have weakened the draft pool for our #17.

Burks is really sliding. I really feel this kid has star potential.
Questionable fit for sure but his talent is undeniable.
He's smooth, slithery, active, unselfish and smart.
And if he drops this low, expect him to want to prove all the GMs that doubted his ability wrong.
He has the skills and focus to do just that.
With that said, no way he falls this far. Why, because of a jumpshot or lack there of?
It's the easiest thing to fix and with coach Billups fine-tuning his game and Phil Weber helping him with his jumper, he'd be a bonafide player in the league.
No effin' way does he fall into our laps.

I'm bored today, and I really have nothing to do til I start my new job in a week so I was wondering if I wanted to just start scouting players. Where would be the best place to get almost full game footage and things like that? Or even game clips maybe. I'm assuming youtube, but I'm wondering if there were any better alternatives before I check out youtube. I'll scout a few of the guards, Selby and the few others. And then I'll check out some big men. This will be my first time really scouting talent but I'll post some of my opinions of each player afterwards if you guys want.

ESPN360 is great (if you can get to it). That's how I watched old games when I was at school...you can watch the full game. It's not accessible with every internet provider though...can't watch it at home so while I'm waiting to hear back from some summer jobs, I'm bored as hell.

Yea right now Brooks and Burks (Brooke Burke? Mmm
) are not that different. They are both lengthy SGs who need to better their jumpshot, learn to play off the ball better, and up their defense. The main thing that separates the two is age right now. Burks is 2 and a half years younger than Marshon, so he has more perceived potential. Thats it really. It took Marshon until he was a senior to really breakout. So on upside I would take Burks first, and most GMs prob would too. Marshon is rising though.
I still have a hard time seeing all 4 of Jimmer, Klay, Burks, and Marshon all being taken before our pick. One of them will be there. We just need to have guys like The Morris twins and Singleton to get picked before us. With that said I wouldnt mind a Vucevic/Markieff pick. Big men arent "safe" to me. They're a commodity.
