With the Cavs acquiring Levert it seems Sexton time is done.

Seems like a great time to acquire him as a buy low option.

If there is no Ben trade somehow Morey needs to combine Green + Korkmaz and/or Shake + Springs and/or Picks for a starting level wing that can shoot and play at least above average D. Are there any actual realistic candidates?

Just going through the list of teams looking to sell…
TJ Warren if he’s projected to be healthy?
Terrance Ross or KCP probably arent good enough to bother?
Can Josh Hart be had for above package?
Derrick White doesn’t mesh with Maxey
Buddy probably makes too much

Not a ton of good options

Wonder if you could do Green, Milton, Korkmaz, and a couple 2nds for Hart and NAW?

What’s the advantage there for NOP?

Picks? I'm just going off rumors they want guard help. Maybe the 2nds are a 1st instead?

Makes it Hart and Garrett Temple and we might have a chance at that I would think

Don't want Temple or his contract. He makes what Korkmaz makes for the same length.

Just make it Green, Milton, and a 2nd for Hart?

Yeah I’m in..I just have a bit of a hard time believing dumping Hart for cap savings is the Pels best option tho. I think at least 1 of our ‘22 1st or Springer would have to be attached to Green to make it worthwhile

If the Sixers are giving a 1st, I definitely want NAW with Hart.

NAW is only 23. The odds of the Pelicans drafting a better prospect in the late 20’s (or hopefully later) are slim. I don’t see why you think they’d be enticed by that offer.

Not saying I really want to give up a 1st or Springer for a solid role player like Hart…but what choice do we really have? We have very little value to add a deal other than Green’s $10M expiring contract. Does Shake Milton really move the needle for the Pelicans?

They can have Springer, Green, and a 1st for Hart and NAW. Throw in Milton, too, while we're at it.

My final Ben Simmons trade.

Thunders:
Ben Simmons
Jaden Springer

Sixers:
$36M cap absorption
Lu Dort
2022 Suns pick (30th)
2022 Clippers pick (15tg)

By Offseason:

Orlando Magic:
Tobias Harris
2022 Sixers first round pick
2022 Suns first round pick
2022 Clippers first round pick

Sixers:
$37M cap absorption

Sixers denounce Green’s contract then signs James Harden without trading Thybulle or Maxey.

Fasten your seat belts and prepare for take off

I am surprised they didn't try to duck the tax this year by dumping Tobias. They still could use another ball handler even with Harden, and possibly a backup C, although I feel there's a chance Millsap could suffice.

Yeah, he's definitely out of Cleveland. He wants a max if he's hiring Klutch. And no sane executive would give it to him.

He isn't getting a max and he is a RFA which means we could have matched any offer anyways it's water under the bridge now we have Harden

Wonder if we can send Tobias for pure cap in the summer to a team like Spurs or Blazers that wants a quick rebuild.

Gives us ability to replace him with full MLE (Covington?) and a massive trade exception while getting under the tax.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
