Stretch 4s or Tweener SF/PFs?

Kenny kadjii, ryan kelly - who I think will be a revelation in la, james southerland, kelly olynk, erik murphy, grant jerrett, christian watford, and bennet.

I'd like to see more of erik murphy and possibly grant jerrett.

i only watched christian watford play a couple of games, but he struck me as a potential role player. good size, looked like he moved well. anyone watch him in sl yet?

no clue where murphy, jerrett or watford are playing. But none of them are really standing out other than olynk.

Really wished we had taken a flyer on Kelly. not very athletic but can shoot well, has good size and plays really good defense. Basically like Speights with more range and most likely better defense

What do you guys realistically think we could offer for LMA? Portland has kicked the tires on guys like Anthony Davis, Blake Griffin, ect and no team is biting, so do you think they would eventually entertain an offer for a package centered around David Lee? We can really throw in draft picks at this point and I can't see us including Klay or Barnes, so does that pretty much leave us without an offer?

I would think Portland would be looking for young players to add to Lillard. I also think that Portland wants too much for LMA right now and until they shop him around, they will continue to stick their nose up to any deals.

I don't know if they would have any interest in Lee, as they would be getting older and is probably counter to what I assume they are doing. They might be more interested in a deal built around Bogut, but that wouldn't work for us and including Barnes or Thompson would be foolish.

Unless a 3rd team gets involved, I don't see us as realistic players for LMA, unless Portland gets desperate, which is doubtful.

I tend to agree that our priorities would not quite mesh, LMA is good but Lee...is good....Klay and Barnes are good. We lack the minor/expendable bits to do a deal we'd LIKE...and the Blazers like.

What 1st? Kinda locked up right now.

And maybe I'm confused, but what Chandler are you talking about?
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Not interested in Tyson Chandler unless Bogut is out for the year.

Okay, people will hate me for this. This is one of those "strike while the iron is hot" kind of ideas.

It's been pretty widely reported that the Blazers turned down an offer of Lee + Rush for Aldridge.

I struggle to see how Green is going to get anything more than token minutes this year. Iguodala and Barnes (maybe even Thompson) are going to get virtually all the minutes at SF. Lee and Speights are going to get virtually everything at PF.

Bazemore dazzled in Summer League..... but watching some of the games, he got most of his points driving against inferior talent, and those won't come so easily against NBA "major league" talent. His outside shot is better than it was, but not by much. Yes, his defense is good, no denying it. I guess what I'm saying is that I'm skeptical that Bazemore's Summer League offense is going to relate to the real season, and as a result, with Douglas on the team, I don't know how much time he'll really get.

So I'd make the offer of Lee + Green + Bazemore to Portland, and would see what they said.

And, oh yeah, this also helps to free up a roster spot for Ian Clark, who I immediately offer a contract to be our form of Gary Neal (except with better accuracy).

(Okay..... waiting for the firebombs to come my way......)
If I don't have anything funny to say, can I still have a signature?

this isn't a bad idea other than the fact bazemore and green aren't worth more than rush. i highly doubt a summer league championship makes either valuable assets that can turn lee into lma. But if they took it, yea I'd jump on it.

No idea how the blazers respond, but their fans are not going to like.

I don't think Bazemore or Green have very much trade value. Some, yes, but not much.

Went to the Blazers board once
Saw LMA trade thread
Read "Lamarcus is clearly a better player than Al Horford"
Close tab, never went back.

i think it's well thought out chuck, but i don't believe it will work out. i have a feeling the blazers really are holding out for more and my guess would be that if they "settle" for a trade like lee, then lma would have to be sent to the eastern conference.

just my two cents, but i really don't see them having any interest in helping us out with a substantial upgrade at the 4.
