Biz can take a lot more physical punishment than Cody, he is much stronger built, and them being inside players, that counts. However, it's obvious that Cody handles physical game better now than at the beginning, so he should probably be more and more comfortable with it over time and just continue to improve, I guess particularly in the offseason when he adds some muscle.

Ok so there is no benefit to having played basketball for over a decade longer. No benefit to having had more coaching than someone else. No benefit to having gone to college and had better coaching there than Biz had here. This sounds wrong to me but excuses for Zeller not being what everyone said he would be seem to be standard now. The facts are he should be better than Biz because he was not supposed to be a complete project like Biz and he had more coaching than Biz already. Cody has had 3 years of basketball after high school and way more basketball before that too. He just does not have the skill set to play at this level. Maybe he develops it but right now he is three years behind a guy who is 3 months older.

What a cool young man that Cody Zeller is. It's hard not to cheer for him to succeed. I hope he turn out to be as good or better than David Lee

haha, I loved the video. the team seemed to be in good spirits.

It was also good to see MKG being very comfortable around the camera and the mic.

Amazing eye for detail on that gnome, it even has his actual-size arms.

Zeller plays like a gnome.

To continue the season like this would mean to end up in the company of:

It's getting to the point where its no longer Cody's fault. Move McBob into the high post on the second team and Cody into the low post on the second team. Time to see if Cody's at least serviceable in the low post.

Cody ain't no stretch 4 and even when he does develop that little midrange shot he won't be. Cho didn't know what the hell he was doing evaluating him in this draft. Just let him play simply in the post and wait for the ball on cuts and stuff until he's ready.

He was a really good post player at Indiana he used his quickness to get by just about any defender using his spin moves

Yuck.

How dare you insult Pat Burke like that. Cody wishes he had game like him.

That was the only move he had. He couldn't back anybody down in college. So he'd get the ball near the freethrow line and spin around plodding white stiffs. He always struggled against guys as athletic and quick as him (remember the debacle against Syracuse). He either develops a perimeter game as a PF or he's Amundson 2.0.

Unlike Cody, Burke could hit the three and was a legit stretch four.

Haha, I actually loved those mid-00s Suns. I remember Burke being the crowd favorite during garbage time.
