Does it infuriate anybody else that Gerald Wallace is even mentioned in trade talks for Dwight? I mean, this was a guy that was in the same free agent class as Rashard Lewis and Vince Carter. We all remember Otis Smith calling VC "fool's gold," passing him up and signing Rashard to one of the worst contracts in NBA history, and letting Crash sign with the Bobcats.

We traded Rashard for Arenas (how'd that work out?), brought in an aged VC a couple of years too late, and now this asshat was even THINKING about trading away our franchise player for Brook Lopez and a guy we should have signed years ago?! Give me a break.

Well hey, NJ has a game in a few days. How many players are on the team. We will soon see how satisfied Deron is there when his team starts to shape up. This thing is going to be going for a minute.

As far as Dwight being upset, he understands that the Magic aren't going to take just anything for a player of his magnitude. So if anything, he may be upset with NJ for putting together such a crappy deal that won't get him there. Do better.

Nets insider on D-Will:
@NYDNInterNets Stefan Bondy
Here's another option that I'm sure Nets fans don't want to hear, but has to be brought up if it becomes clear they can't land Howard. ...
@NYDNInterNets Stefan Bondy
They trade Deron Williams.

Alright man, even though its easier fro Dwight to come to Nets than it is for Deron to go Orlando.

Really? Easier?... Howard and his life is embedded/attached in the city of Orlando... Deron just got to the Nets after a fly by night trade last season... I think it'd be easier for Deron to come to Orlando than it would be for Dwight to leave and go to the Nets

Oh, I guess you meant CBA-wise it'd be easier... correct?... well don't underestimate the cap clearing plan Orlando is undertaking... do the math on hoopsworld... it's not exactly impossible to re-sign Howard and sign D-Will, if all the right moves are made

Not only is it not impossible, it wouldn't even be hard. Just patience, and smart moves would accomplish it.

Yep..... and Wallace signed for half the price of what we gave Lewis :lol: .. such a terrible deal, glad it got shut down

Well, if Portland would accept GW for 4 1st round picks, why cant we offer that to them? Nets' picks with D12 and Deron wouldnt be much different than the picks we own with D12.

Don't worry guys, Otis says he hugs Dwight everyday, these must be the moves he was talking about to keep Dwight.

If this is true, it's only going to deteriorate the relationship between Dwight and the Magic FO.

Is there a link for this?

Game, set, match... we have to clear cap and pry D-Will away from the Nets... time to get our leverage back... we win a whole bunch of games this season, make a deep playoff run, and make smart moves to clear space (or get Dwight help)... Dwight will stay for sure, and we can get D-Will... then lol @ Nets... no wonder they've been panicking the past few days

Yeah, he does all the time.

Let me tell you guys, yall are really making a big deal out of nothing with the hats things. Lebron used to rock a Yankees hat all the time, now look at him.

I have a Detroit Red Wings snapback that I wear all the time, along with my Chicago Bulls-themed Penny Is. I also have an old school Atlanta Hawk Snapback (haven't worn that one in a while, though, lol), and a Raptors Snapback.

I don't support ANY of those teams.......Hell, I've never even watched a Red WIngs game before. They just look good.
