I think its time for the knicks to make the post season. Cant see them not making it if noah and rose stay healthy with melo and zinger as well.

Cavs
Celtics
Raps
Pacers
Hornets
Pistons
Bulls
Knicks

Is my early prediction for the playoffs in the east.

Heat falls out of it, bosh stays out and has to retire.

Magic havent gotten better yet

Bucks are going to struggle again

Wizards and Hawks will also struggle this year i think and will be on the outside looking in.

Nets and sixers will fight for worst record.

Oh, I think the Sixers will be much improved with Simmons and Saric.

Is the Bulls being bad out of the question?

I'm not saying they'll be Nets-tier, but 47.5 is an outrageous total

Why is Wade going to stay healthy for 70+ games? I do like Taj finally getting his opportunity, though, will say that. Definite breakout candidate there. However, Rondo is on the team, that's an absolute disaster for any team with the goal of winning games. He takes the ball out of Wade and Butler's hands. Neither of them can shoot or space the floor. Backcourt depth is awful. Mirotic can't defend, but needs to be in there for the team to make sense offensively with Rondo, but those two as a defensive pairing is a disaster waiting to happen.

A Lopez is involved, never a good sign. What am I missing here? This looks like a prime candidate to miss the post-season and have a season full of pouting. Rondo already had a quote along the lines of "Hoiberg won't have to call every play" - of course he won't, our favorite 'lil sniper can take care of that and make sure he gets a lengthy streak of 10+ assists en route to 34 wins!

I think trading that player and removing having to watch him play basketball from the regular rotation of my life added 10 years to my life. If an NBA team actually wants him on their roster at this point, it is a surefire sign that they are a poorly run organization. Should be out of the league.

I think the top 6 are pretty much locks for the playoffs. The 7 and 8 seed is up for grabs and will be a very close race which is great as it will give teams incentive not to tank.

Seems like your personal distaste for Rondo blinds you from the fact Wade avg'd 68 games a season since LBJ left, they have two 20 pt scorers. Mirotic is ready to break out. Lopez is super solid (don't get why your hating on him?) & Their back ups can all shoot (Canaan, Valentine, McDermott), + Wade is very good at cutting, so that should bold well with Rondo.

I don't think they'll be great, but a mid playoffs seed seem realistic. Prob a hard out in the playoffs. But obviously you got agendas.

Hehe this stuff still gets me

Bucks were supposed to be much better than our ham n' eggers but, we're the ones signing an all star while they're out of the playoffs trying to get their mojo back.

I reckon Bulls will explode this year, Rondo, Wade and Butler is a disaster waiting to happen. Butler wants the ball and thought he was gonna get it with Rose gone, Wade's gonna try return as the grizzled hometown hero and Rondo will press the self destruct button himself if he isn't taking that ball up the court at least 99% of the time.

I think the Pistons could be siginificantly better this year as well, maybe about 4th and the Hawks will probably make the playoffs since they kinda replaced what they lost well

That must be the most pathetic "new guys hold up jerseys" photo I've ever seen, as far as who the guys are.

Sorry man but idk what JSimon is? lol if you explain, might be able to do a little friendly something here.

I think 47 is high too though. I'll do 45? You think that's too low for a bet, or are you thinking they're gonna be like 35-47?

Who would you guys start? Kinda amazing that so many huge stars backed out & they still have this incredible team. No James, Paul, Curry, Harden, Davis, Griffin, Westbrook, Leonard, Lillard.

Another weird thing is 10 of the 12 ppl are in between ages 24-28. Usually you got 1-2 young guys & a couple old vets.

Irving - Lowry
Butler - Thompson - DeRozan
Durant - George
Anthony - Green - Barnes
Jordan - Cousins

I'd prob try to balance the 2 teams out. Start Jordan & Butler for defense. Same with Lowry & Green on the 2nd team. I really like this team personally. Not big fans of Kobe, Lebron, Love, Harden, Deron Williams from the 2012 team. Easier team to root for imo.

I'd start Draymond if Irving's gonna start. Need some passing with all that offensive talent.

Harrison Barnes is a silly inclusion on this team from a talent perspective - I guess they figured he's used to playing on superteams.
