Wow, just a conditional 2nd rounder for Wade, who was slated to make eleventy billion dollars from the Bulls this year (and collected most of it).

The rotations are completely different with a whole new set of players and I just don't see how they can play cohesive enough that soon to really challenge Boston or Toronto. Maybe Lebron puts up 40/10/10 every night in the playoffs but are far from the favorite as of now.

They overhauled half their roster in LeBron's 1st season back in Cleveland and made the finals. The year they won the championship, they made deals at the deadline as well. It'll be a challenge but they'll find a way to make it work. LeBron James is good enough to carry them with that supporting cast.

I really do believe the Raptors, Boston, and even the Wizards are more legitimate than any of the eastern squads back then.

If anything, this ensures the Cavs won't be able to tank very well if Lebron leaves.

I think Boston is a legit threat, any maaaaybe Toronto but they fall apart in the playoffs every year. Anyone else is fooling themselves. I don't think the Cavs are a lock to make the finals but they are definitely the favorite after all these moves.

Any takers on Holiday? Would Boston be interested to strengthen their wing depth?

It's kind of odd and sad that the Bulls are paying Wade to play for their 2 most hated rivals this last decade(Heat and Cavs).

How? I'm confused haha

The Cavs traded their own 1st round pick for 2018 to the Lakers, the Cavs must own at least 1 FRP due to the Stepien rule.
Their own FRP in 2019 is owed to Atlanta. Can't trade consecutive FRP.

Well, if anything, most of they players mentioned in trade rumors leading to deadline changed teams in this Cavs bonanza. Bulls guys are the only ones left, for better or worse, we have an hour to find out which.

Life is the ULTIMATE leveller.

Jimmy as a small time rookie and Derrick on the super MVP contract (Derrick Rose rule). Now, Derrick playing off the waiver wire and Jimmy poised to get PAID.

RoLo's staying, I'm convinced of that. Just give Holiday and Grant away for free. Holiday especially. We can't have him shooting us into games anymore.

I’d rather call it meaningless. Who Dwayne Wade plays for means nothing to the Bulls.

Atleast, Thibs knows what Rose can or cannot do. Adding a PG even a backup in the middle of a season is no joke. It makes sense to add him for cheap especially when they have a free roster spot in case of an emergency.

The irony is he will be backing up Teague whom he was beating up as an MVP. They probably are releasing Brooks.

Although if they sign Noah...it will be funny. With the Bulls, Taj and Jimmy were the bench guys with Noah/Rose the stars and although Taj is not a star on the Wolves, Noah/Rose will backup Taj/Jimmy.

Man I'd **** love it if Rose went to Minnesota, if for no other reason than it would work towards stifling the long argued idea that he was a cancer here.

Well they could still trade it if they get another unprotected pick back....
