Giannisland 34 wrote:His contract has to similar to Embiid’s. Which has a provision in it that lets the team cut/release him if he reinjuries, in Embiid’s case, his foot or back. Only on his major injuries that he’s had in the past. So if he does get reinjuried the team isn’t completely screwed. Seeing as thou this wouldn’t be the first contract like this it helps and gives something to do off of.

Embiid's contract has some "protections" but not much. He gets most of that money.

More importantly, if we are talking about another team like Chicago giving Jabari an offer sheet, said contract might not have any protections in it for the team.

That is like a Ricky-ism from Trailer Park Boys.

"Beauty is in the eye when you hold her"

"Burn the hatchet at both ends"

"Get a couple more days of work under my wing"

"Where there's smoke there's wires"

"Whole different kettle and dish"

Fockin de-cent.

Been suffering through **** Firestick streams when I've had time to watch the Bucks this year...I think I'm going to just pay for the one-game League Pass for Friday.

The Jabari Discussion Thread - Back 2/2

I’ll have to brace myself for this board to be unreadable after Jabari goes 2-6 on Friday with 5 points and 3 rebounds in 18 minutes. Kidd is gone and this board has never had a time where someone hasnt been hated. Jabari, your up

If and when that happens it'll be time for a lot of people to take a break from the board...including myself.

Thon is the current whipping boy, by a large margin I think Jabari would have a few games grace period before being given the torch.

So excited to get this guy back, really hoping they put a few extra ACLs in him before they stitched him back up.

Hearing the game is near a sellout and even employees aren't getting their usual tickets for the game. Looks like the city of Milwaukee is ready for his return

All it's gonna take is one baseline dunk to sell me on Parker again. The guy is a beast he just needs to stay healthy.

Dudes, I just realized, our friends invited us to a game in the suite and I hadn't really thought about which game, it is this Friday!

My week just got exponentially better!

Anybody else think it’s extremely selfish for Jabari to come back when the team is playing well. Him being out there is just going to distract them because all they will think about is his contract

I hope he doesn't write an open letter about this latest experience. If he has good things to say about these guys, the city or his hopes and dreams again I'm out.

The lower bowl is basically sold out for Friday, there are a few hundred uppers left. I was looking at the Knicks game about a week ago and tons of tix were available.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

The standing ovation had better be worthy of a guy working his way back from a 2nd ACL tear in as many years. Whether its his job or not, its pretty much unprecedented.

I honestly think Jabari is extremely jealous of Giannis and wants to come back ASAP so he can steal the spotlight

Yeah, I think this is worse than when he wrote the letter and that letter was extremely selfish :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Seriously, the guy was scheduled to be back around this period. This has nothing to do with him being selfish.

I agree. And he's definitely not going to pass to Giannis on Friday because of that jealousy.
