Game 4. Fiserv. Phoenix in control for most of it. A few annoying Suns fans close to us counting loudly during Giannis' free throws, really bro'in it up. Bucks snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. As Suns fans started to file out with 20 or so seconds to go, absolutely shellshocked, I made sure to let them know how devastating the loss was. Phoenix never recovered. Bucks didn't lose another game.

Something in between I would imagine, unless one or two of the young players breaks out and allows for the vets to not play a ton of minutes chasing records. Maybe like a 57-25 record.

I think the Bucks learned how valuable home court is in the Finals. Sure we stole one in PHO, but you can't count on that going forward.

Depending on how many players return, their chemistry will only improve and I feel many will have a "you ain't gonna beat the champs" mentality that keeps them winning some games they may otherwise have let slip by.

I don't see the need to coast for strategic planning reasons as much as I do for "load management".

This one is particularly for PP, but it would be fantastic if we were on the right side of the fix for once and Giannis' testing regime was 'halted' for a week or so :reporter:

Giannis being mysteriously gassed in the middle of series matches this conspiracy.
I was calling Game 3 the Giannis Covid Game.

Glad that's no longer that preposterous of dream.

Was the vessel in a river, or on a lake?
Definitely a lake.

Did they though? Why is it that every #1 seed in the East (including ourselves) failed in the POs in recent years?

Nope you failed to interpret how we got the Championship .... It's not home court... it's all about staying healthy... use regular season to get your players comfortable in their role. Keep em fresh and healthy ... No1 seed will not get us another ring, its all about health and team chemistry imo

This was so satisfying to read. I can only imagine how much better it was in person

Yup, Saric' injury was the difference in the series.

I definitely agree health is more important. I meant more to emphasize that they won't need to experiment as much this year, or that the experiment will be better controlled. I think they don't have to try as hard to get the 1 this year, unless they really go for youth development in meaningful minutes.

I get a weird vibe from Tucker walking away. This particular shot I think Tucker needs to be cropped out.

I still gotta wait 2 weeks for a pre-order item. I want my damn t-shirt so I can rub it in my co-worker's face who's a Miami fan.

Oof…wasn’t my direction…but the post seems to have aged well. Maybe I should harness this power more carefully.
