So I guess we're not going to see a Philly sell off today.

Not a huge Hield fan but if we have to play them he's absolutely going to have a game where he buries 7 or 8 threes.

That's a pretty good trade for Philly.

Pretty much perfectly sums up Masai's last 4-years as a GM.

I'm guessing Hield was disgruntled with his reduced role (as per usual), but yeah this seems like a buy low for the Sixers.

If Utah buys out Otto Porter then he's definitely a guy I'd take a cheap gamble on.

Zion was always overrated because of his athleticism, body shape and unique name. He can't shoot, has very little actual skill and is pretty short. He's just a hyper athletic leaper in a giant bull body. Looks cool when he's healthy. But in the NBA he can be stopped by anyone with a bit of stoutness and height. And he's always hurt and doesn't really like basketball I'd guess.

This is just not true. You guys need to go back and watch the Duke tape in order to see how special of a prospect he was, because I'm seeing stuff like this all over now and it's a shame that people already can't remember. His body control, handle, and touch around the rim were/are Lebron-esque for a guy his size. He isn't widely considered one of the 3 best NBA prospects of the last few decades if he was indeed just a bowling ball shaped human with Gerald Green's hops.

Yeah, he does have a decent handle. But I usually see an insanely fast first twitch step then straight line athletic leap. It's impressive but I wouldn't necessarily characterize it as skill.

The real news is Furkan Korkmaz' trade demand was finally granted by Philly :)

Definitely in the running for funniest trade demand ever.

Masai definitely has a type so maybe we should start stockpiling Nigerian basketball players for future Toronto trades.

I don't know if I would want to be giving up assets to go for it this year with the huge question mark of Embiid's health, but in a vacuum, that's a very good trade for them.

They didn't give up much of anything in that trade. I don't even like Buddy Hield but that's a pretty easy W for the Sixers imo.

He missed out on Giannis and has been trying to make up for it every draft since 2013.
