I'm afraid that every time I heap praise on Kemba publicly I jinx him and a horrible game follows. I've said too much already. [backs out of thread quietly]

Kemba is the worst, I bet he shoots 2-for-18 tonight. ARGH.

[I hope that is enough to reverse the jinx]

I'd balance this equation by adding Stephen Curry on the right side

Whatever it took to motivate Kemba to perform this year, I hope he can sustain in future when team changes.

The level of play is an obvious sign, but did anyone else catch how Paul George and Kemba exchanged respects before and after the game? It seems the elite players have identified Kemba as the force and face of this franchise and he is being welcomed into the club. This guy is breaking out in such a huge way. I would love to turn back the clock to the discussion in here when the team signed him to that contract. Holy **** you guys gave me an ulcer. I still enter game threads expecting bashing and feel some posters lurk and come out to trash him. In your face, haters.

In the worst jinx possible on realgm, someone started a "Has Kemba Peaked?" thread on the General Board. Nothing produces a run of bad games quicker than a positive thread about one of our players on the GB.

BTW, this phenomenon should forever be known as "The Stun Effect".

I thought it was Jordan Hill?
And then it was Jefferson, who on a finally healthy knee, can use all those spin moves and drop steps that make him a classic low-post scorer. For about five minutes of the second half Jefferson so befuddled Pacers big man Solomon Hill that Indiana coach Frank Vogel had to call timeout to get Hill out of the game.

Is that positive? I'm not planning on breaking my no GB streak to check, but that sounds backhanded.

It was definitely Jordan Hill. Rick has his Indiana Hill's messed up.

Cliff in the pregame vs the Wolves talked about how Kemba's improvement is partly because he has more space on the floor and can do more. Cliff said Kemba is playing in a better offense. The Husky gang was saying that all last year.
