Trae Young with 32 pts tonight on 50% shooting, 40% from 3, but only 1 assist and 6 turnovers.

Impressed by Trae Young playing against physical pressure all game.

He may even be better suited in the NBA if he's next to Booker, able to play 1 on 1 with a spread floor.

Defense would be the biggest question mark but the best PGs like Curry, Harden, Irving, Lillard, Thomas are similar.

This is the hardest choice for me. I love both young and ayton, my two favorites in this draft. Went with ayton because he's been my guy in this draft since 2016 just like jj was my guy since 2015.

I believe both Young and Ayton will be better in the NBA. If we can walk away from this draft with either one I'll be incredibly happy, but I won't lie, I want Ayton a little bit more.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Trae Young for me. Easily.

Gaspar said it before, in this current NBA the impact of a perimeter player is way higher than the impact on the game of a frontcourt player. I would draft Ayton or Bagley ONLY if Trae/Doncic are not available.

I'm not sure who I like better for the Suns from Ayton/Young/Doncic.

I feel like Ayton will add more balance to the team, also it's harder to get a good big in general.

I think recent good play from JJ and Bender is partially because of Devin playing more PG, so he is distributing and getting more people involved. Is adding another shot-happy player not going in the other direction ?

Doncic I like about his versatility. He has true PG skills, but can also guard bigger players on defense.

In the end, all of them are filling a need, so drafting on BPA is the right decision.

I'd be concerned with our rebounding if we dragged jjj. Neither of our young power forwards have shown much in the way of rebounding and neither has jjj.

This guy really intrigues me: needs less adaptation to the NBA, but is also the youngest of the bunch and is still growing into his body. He is somewhere in the middle of a plug and play and long term project player.

Good. Come back to earth a little Trae, so we have better chance of getting you.

For me its Young. And its not close any more. He is the guy I want to watch play every night.

Do you guys see the similarities between Mikal Bridges and Kerry Kittles?

I watched him live. Some great passes, and his shooting was off which didn't bother me, but he certainly will have his limitations. He is still top 2 or 3 for me now, but Doncic seems much more versatile and not undersized...to say the least.

But that's only a concern if we are picking like #1.

So, I think Ayton is our guy given the Payton trade. Won't be surprised if we make a trade for 1st overall if we don't land it ourselves.

This trade should have no bearing whatsoever on who we pick.

I'm sceptical with Doncic.

Skills and talent is there.. But the hunger and competitive nature?... Will it carry over to the NBA or will he Bender out... As in be passive and just be happy to be in the NBA.

You need that confidence and passion. Its what determines development and learning rate.

But we should definitely be eyeing Ayton regardless. I would definitely package whatever future picks is needed to grab him. Hopefully we just end up getting the No 1 pick anyway. :D

It would be smart of the league to give us the pick regardless so we can be the next upcoming team with Booker/Ayton/JJ.

So suns need top 2 pick pretty much!

If Suns finish outside top 4... And Michael Porter is there. Take the chance?
